ԱԺ փոխնախագահ, ՀՀԿ խոսնակ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը կարծում է՝ արդարացի կլիներ Դրոյի, Արամ  Մանուկյանի, Մովսես Սիլիկյանի և Թովմաս Նազարբեկյանի կողքին վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ելույթում հնչեր նաև Գարեգին Նժդեհի անունը: «Գարեգին Նժդեհն է եղել այն գործիչը, ով կարողացել է Հայոց զորքին համախմբել, իր ոգով այնպես անել, որ ոգեզրկված բնակչությունը մեկ օրում փառապանծ մարտ է մղել Ղարքիլիսայում,որը հիմք է հանդիսացել Բաշ-Ապարանի և Սարդարապատի ճակատամարտերի համար»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում ասաց Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:

 

Պատգամավորը դժվարացավ ասել, թե դա միտումնավոր է արվել, թե ոչ, ամեն դեպքում՝ ինքը համարում է, որ Նժդեհի անունը պետք է հնչեր ելույթում:

 

Անդրադառնալով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի կողմից հնչեցված գնահատականին, որ թյուրիմացության արդյունքում ԱԺ նախագահ Արա Բաբլոյանը չի մասնակցել Սարդարապատի հուշահամալիրում կայացած միջոցառմանը՝ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը նշեց, որ համամիտ չի այդ դիրքորոշման հետ: «Ինչ է նշանակում թյուրիմացություն, խոսքը ոչ միայն ԱԺ նախագահին էր վերաբերում, այլև խորհրդին: Ես կարծում եմ, որ անկախ կուսակցական պատկանելիությունից, մայիսի 28-ի համապետական տոնին պետք է մասնակցեր ԱԺ ղեկավարությունը՝ ԱԺ նախագահը, երեք տեղակալները, հանձնաժողովների ղեկավարները, խմբակցությունների ղեկավարները»,-ասաց ԱԺ փոխնախագահը: Նրա խոսքով՝  չի կարող թյուրիմացություն լինել այն, որ կառավարությունից եղել է ընդամենը 13 հրավիրատոմս, որից 9 հոգուց բաղկացած «Ելք» խմբակցությունը ստացել է 4 հրավիրատոմս, իսկ 58 հոգանոց ՀՀԿ-ն՝ 3-ը, հանձնաժողովների ղեկավարներն էլ ու ինքը չեն ստացել: «Հույս ունենանք, որ ապագայում նման սխալներ չեն լինի»,-ավելացրեց Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:
