Օլիմպիական փոխչեմպիոն Միհրան Հարությունյանը երեկ հայտատարել է, որ հանդես է գալու նաև MMA խառը մարզաձևերի մրցույթներին՝ իր ընտանիքի բարեկեցության համար, քանի որ, ինչպես ինքն է ասել, «Ռիոյից հետո իրեն ոչնչով չօգնեցին։ Իհարկ Միհրանի իրավունքն է հանդես գալ ցանկացած սպորտաձևում։ Բայց իրեն ոչնչով չօգնելու մասին շատ վատ հայտարարություն է, եթե չասնեք՝ սուտ։ Ախր բոլորը գիտեն, թե Ռիո օլիմպիական խաղերից հետո ինչ ընդունելության ու ինչ խոշոր դրամական պարգևների արժանացրեց ՀԱՕԿ նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը Միհրան Հարությունյանին։ 

Ախր Միհրան ջան, դու էլ գիտես, որ նման խոշոր դրամական պարգևները, որը Հայաստանում Ծառուկյանը տվեց ձեզ՝ Ռիոյի Օլիմպիական խաղերի մասնակիցներիդ, ամբողջ աշխարհում չկան։ Ու սա զուտ հայտարարություն չի, սա իրականություն է։ Համեմատության համար նշենք, որ Ռուսաստանում, օրինակ, Օլիմպիական չեմպիոնի պագևատրությունը 3 միլիոն ռուբլի է, որը մեր դրամով լինում է մոտ 25 միլիոն դրամ։ 
Այնինչ Հայաստանում մեր մազիկներին, որոնց մեջ էր նաև Միհրան Հարությունյանը, այնպիսի դրամական պարգևներ տվեցին, որ դրանից հետո կարելի էր ամբողջ կյանքում չաշխատել ու անհոգ ապրել։ Ռիոյի Օլիմպիական խաղերից հետո Միհրան Հարությունյանին պետությունը որպես պարգև տվել էր 50 հազար դոլար, ևս 100 հազար դոլար էր տվել Ըմբշամարտի ֆեդերացիան, իսկ ՀԱՕԿ նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը, ուշադրություն, տվել էր 2․2 միլիոն դոլարի հասնող պարգև, այո այո, 2․2 միլիոն դոլարի, որի մասը եղել էր Երևանի կենտրոնում գտնվող բնարականի տեսքով, իսկ մյուս մասը՝ գումարի։

Նման խոշոր պարգև աշխարհի ոչ մի ուրիշ երկրում չկա։ Այսքան գումար ում տային, նա ըստ իս կհամարվեր մինչև կյանքի վերջ ապահովված մարդ, ով այլևս ոչ մի բանի կարիք չունի։ 

Այսքանից հետո, Միհրան ջան, հելնել ու հայտարարել, որ քեզ Ռիոյից հետո ոչնչով չեն օգնել, ուղղակի երախտամոռություն է։ Չի կարելի։ Դու հերոս սպորտսմեն ես, բայց նման բան չպիտի ասեիր, քանի որ նման հսկայական դրամական պարգևն ու օգնությունը ուրանալը ճիշտ բան չէ։
