Սմբատ Ավագյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

 

Երեկ ուշագրավ օր էր, քանի որ հնարավորություն կար վերջապես հանգուցալուծել երկրում արդեն քանի օր շարունակվող քաղաքական ճգնաժամը։ ԱԺ-ն պետք է ընտրեր վարչապետ, իսկ ներկայացված էր միայն մեկ՝ ժողովրդի թեկնածու Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։ Իհարկե երեկ քաղաքական ճգնաժամը չհանգուցալուծվեց, քանի որ ՀՀԿ-ն դեմ քվեարկեց Փաշինյանի թեկնածությանը, ինչի արդյունքում այսօր նոր թափ ստացան քաղաքացաիական անհնազանդության ակցիաները։
Սակայն երեկվա օրը ուշագրավ էր մեկ այլ հանգամանքով ևս․ վարչապետի թեկնածուին կողմ քվեարկելու համար Աժ էր եկել անձամբ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը։ Սա, բնականաբար, դարձավ երեկվա ամենալուսաբանվող և ուշագրավ իրադարձություններից մեկը, ինչի մասին էին վկայում նաև լրագրողների անսպառ հարցերը Գագիկ Ծառուկյանին։ 
Ինչպես հայտնի է, Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը ներկա չէր եղել ՀՀ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանի և ՀՀ վարչապետի թեկնածու Սերժ Սարսգյանի ընտրությանը։ Ինչն էր ուրեմն պատճառը, որ Ծառուկյանը երեկ եկավ ԱԺ ժողովրդի թեկնածուի օգտին քվեարկելու համար։
Ծառուկյանի քայլը Հայաստանում քաղաքական գործընթացների ինդիկատոր էր․ նախորդ վերոնշյալ ընտրություններին չներկայանալով՝ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը ցանկանում էր ցույց տալ, որ դրանք լեգիտիմ չեն, և նրա բացակայությունը ինքնատիպ բոյկոտ էր այդ ընտրություններին, այնինչ, ժողովրդի թկենածու Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ընտրության քվեարկությանը անձամբ մասնակցելով, Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը փաստեց, որ այդ ընտրությունը (որը չկայացավ) ոչ միայն լեգիտիմ էր, այլ նաև իր մասնակցությամբ ապացուցեց, որ հաղթանակը այլևս կայացած փաստ է և մնում է միայն այն դե յուրե ամրագրել։
