ԱՄՆ-ը թերահավատորեն է ընդունում Ադրբեջանում ընտրությունների արդյունքները

ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղարությունը դժվարացել է գնահատել նոյեմբերի 1-ին Ադրբեջանում անցկացված խորհրդարանական ընտրությունները դրանցում բավարար թվով միջազգային դիտորդների բացակայության պատճառով:

Այս մասին,  հայտնում է «Թուրան» լրատվական գործակալությունը:

Այսպես, այդ առնչությամբ տարածած հայտարարության մեջ Պետքարտուղարությունն ափոսոսանք է հայտնել, որ Ադրբեջանի կառավարությունը ԵԱՀԿ ԺՀՄԻԳ-ին թույլ չի տվել բավարար թվով դիտորդներ ուղարկել ընտրություններին, ինչն այդ կազմակերպությանը խանգարել է մոնիտորինգ անցկացնել:

«Առանց ԵԱՀԿ ԺՀՄԻԳ մասնակցության մենք չենք կարող ասել, որ Ադրբեջանն առաջնընթաց է կատարել ԺՀՄԻԳ հանձնարարականների հետ համեմատ, որոնք արվել են նախորդ ընտրությունների ժամանակ: Այդ հանձնարարականները վերաբերվել էին հիմնարար ազատությունների սահմանափակումներին», -ասել է Պետքարտուղարության մամուլի ծառայության ներկայացուցիչ Էլիզաբեթ Թրյուդոն:

ԵԱՀԿ ԺՀՄԻԳ-ն ավելի վաղ հայտարարել էր, որ Բաքվի սահմանափակումներն անհնարին են դարձնում վստահություն ներշնչող մոնիտորինգի անցկացումը: Սակայն Բաքվի իշխանությունները դա գնահատել են որպես ԵԱՀԿ ԺՀՄԻԳ-ի կողմից իր մանդատի խախտում:

ԵԱՀԿ մշտական խորհրդում ԱՄՆ-ի դեսպան Դանիել Բայերը հայտարարել էր, որ Ադրբեջանը սխալ է գործում` խոչընդոտելով ԺՀՄԻԳ-ին:

«Ես հասկանում եմ, որ Բաքուն ԺՀՄԻԳ հետ կցանկանար առանձնահատուկ հարաբերություններ, սակայն բոլոր մասնակից երկրները պետք է հասկանան, որ օբյեկտիվ գնահատականների մեթոդաբանությունը բացառում է «հատուկ հարաբերությունների» հնարավորությունը», -ասել է նա:

Իր հերթին, Պետքարտուղարությունը երկուշաբթի հայտարարել է, որ «ինչպես նախկինում` անհանգստացած է Ադրբեջանում քաղաքական մթնոլորտի սահմանափակումներով»:

Հայտարարության մեջ Պետքարտուղարությունը Բաքվին կոչ է անում, որպես միջազգային պարտավորությունների մաս, հարգել խաղաղ հավաքների, միավորումների ու անկախ ձայների, այդ թվում` մամուլի ազատությունը եւ համագործակցել ԺՀՄԻԳ-ի հետ:
