ՆԱՏՕ-ում ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման հիմքը համարում են խաղաղ բանակցությունները

ՆԱՏՕ-ն աջակցում է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանը. ցանկացած լարվածություն կամ զինված գործողություն, ավելի է հեռացնում կողմերին կարգավորումից եւ խաղաղության համաձայնագրից: Նոյեմբերի 3-ին ՆԱՏՕ-ի տեղեկատվական կենտրոնում Հայաստանում «ՆԱՏՕ-ի շաբաթ» ծրագրի շրջանակում կայացած հանդիպման ժամանակ Հարավային Կովկասում ՆԱՏՕ-ի կապի սպա Ուիլյամ Լահյուն շեշտեց, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ն հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում ներգրավված չէ, սակայն աջակցում է այն կազմակերպությանը, որը ջանքեր է գործադրում խաղաղ կարգավորման ուղղությամբ:
«Շարունակվող լարվածությունը վտանգ է ողջ տարածաշրջանի համար ոչ միայն անվտանգության այլեւ ապագայի եւ տնտեսական բարգավաճման առումով: Հետեւաբար, մենք աջակցում են ԼՂ հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանն ու աջակցում այն կազմակերպությանը, որը նպաստում է դրան»,- ասաց Լահյուն:
1994թ. Բիշկեքում ստորագրված զինադադարից հետո ԼՂ հակամարտությանկարգավորման գործը վերապահվել է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբին: Խմբի երեքհամանախագահները ներկայացնում են ԱՄՆ-ն, Ֆրանսիան եւ ՌուսաստանիԴաշնությունը: Հայաստանը բազմիցս հայտարարել է, որ ԼՂ հակամարտությունը պետք է կարգավորել եւ բանակցությունները վարել բացառապես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբիշրջանակում:
