Քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանն աշխատանքային շրջայցով եղել է Երևանի հիմնադրման 2750-ամյակին նվիրված այգում, որն առաջիկայում նախատեսվում է վերանորոգել ու բարեկարգել: Ըստ այդմ Երևանի քաղաքապետը տեղում մի շարք հանձնարարականներ է տվել պատասխանատուներին՝ ընդգծելով, որ իրականացվելիք աշխատանքների շրջանակում որպես հիմնական առաջնահերթություն պետք է դիտարկվի հանգստի այս գոտին թե՛ երևանցիների և թե՛ մայրաքաղաքի հյուրերի համար, Երևանի հիմնադրման 2800-ամյակին ընդառաջ, առավել հարմարավետ ու ներկայանալի դարձնելը: Այս համատեքստում հանձնարարվել է համապատասխան աշխատանքներ տանել հանգստի գոտում առկա շատրվանների արտաքին տեսքի թարմացման ու նորոգման, ճեմուղիների վնասված սալիկների փոխարինման և կանաչ տարածքների պատշաճ խնամքի ու ձևավորման ուղղությամբ:
Հարկ է նշել, որ արդեն իսկ հիմնանորոգման աշխատանքներ են կատարվում հանգստի այս գոտու տրամաբանական շարունակությունը հանդիսացող Իտալիայի և Բեյրութի փողոցների միջնամասում գտնվող այգում, որը նվիրվելու է Երևանի հիմնադրման 2800-ամյակին: Այսպիսով, Երևանի հիմնադրման հոբելյանին ընդառաջ, մայրաքաղաքի այս երկու այգիները նորովի կներկայանան մայրաքաղաքի բնակիչներին ու կհամալրեն երևանյան բարեկարգ և հարմարվետ հանգստի գոտիների շարքը:
