 «Հանրապետական» խմբակցությանպատգամավոր Լևոն Մարտիրոսյանի դիտարկմամբ Սահմանադրական փոփոխու թյունները հնարավորություն կընձեռեն ՀՀ քաղաքացիներին ապրել ավելի ժողովրդավար երկրում: «Սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների անցումային դրույթների իրացումը, անշուշտ, կպահանջի երկարատև տարիների աշխատանք: Սակայն, առաջին քայլը մենք վաղ թե ուշ պետք է կատարեինք, և այժմ վերջին խոսքը պատկանում է մեր ժողովրդին»,-լրագրողների հետ նոյեմբերի 2-ին կայացած հանդիպմանն այսպիսի կարծիք հայտնեց նա` հավելելով, որ Սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների իրագործումը լուրջ առաջընթացի նախադրյալ կստեղծի մեր պետության համար:

Նա նկատեց, որ խորհրդարանական կառավարման համակարգը կնպաստի ՀՀ-ում կուսակցական համակարգի զարգացմանը: «Սահմանադրական  փոփոխություններն աննախադեպ լիազորություններ են տալիս կուսակցություններին, իսկ Ազգային ժողովում բազմաթիվ օրենքներ և կարևորագույն որոշումներ այլևս չեն կարող ընդունվել առանց ընդդիմության համաձայնության»,-շեշտեց Մարտիրոսյանը` չբացառելով, որ Սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների արդյունքում ՀՀ-ում կձևավորվի դասական քաղաքական համակարգ` «ձախ»-երի և «աջ»-երի դասավորվածությամբ:

Անդրադառնալով «Ոչ»-ի ճակատի գործունեությանը` Լևոն Մարտիրոսյանն ասաց հետևյալը. «Ես տեղյակ չեմ, թե նրանք ընդհանրապես ինչին են դեմ, քանի որ Սահմանադրական փոփոխություններում ընդգրկված են դրույթներ (համամասնական ընտրակարգ, խորհրդարանական կառավարման համակարգ), որոնք մշտապես առաջ են քաշվել ընդդիմության կողմից»:

Դեկտեմբերի 6-ին Հայաստանում տեղի կունենա սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների հանրաքվեն: Ազգային ժողովի երկու խոշոր ուժեր` «Հանրապետական» և ԲՀԿ խմբակցությունները  աջակցում են փոփոխությունների անցկացմանը, նրանց է միացել նաև «Դաշնակցություն» խմբակցությունը: Փոփոխություններին դեմ են հանդես եկել «Ժառանգություն», ՀԱԿ և ՕԵԿ խմբակցությունները:
