Պաշտոնական այցով Երևան ժամանած Լիոն քաղաքի քաղաքապետ, իմ լավ գործընկեր ու բարեկամ Ժորժ Կեպենեկյանի հետ այսօր ստորագրեցինք հուշագիր, որով նախանշեցինք այն հիմնական գերակա ուղղությունները, որոնցով կխորացնենք երկու քաղաքների համագործակցությունը: Հուշագրում ներառել ենք մասնավորապես մշակույթի, առողջապահության, կրթության, տուրիզմի, տրանսպորտի և քաղաքային լուսավորության, ինչպես նաև կառավարման նորարարական տեխնոլոգիաների՝ Խելացի քաղաքի և գործարար կապերի զարգացման ու ընդլայնման ուղղություններով համագործակցության խորացումը: Հաշվի առնելով երկուստեք հարաբերությունների զարգացման դրական դինամիկան ու առկա ներուժը, համոզված եմ, որ նախանշված բոլոր ուղղություններով ևս կարձանագրենք լուրջ հաջողություններ:
Անցած ավելի քան 20 տարիների ընթացքում պարոն Կեպենեկյանն իսկապես մեծ ներդրում ու ավանդ է ունեցել Երևանի և Լիոնի բարեկամական կապերի ամրապնդման գործում և, լավ ճանաչելով գործընկերոջս ու իմ լավ բարեկամին, վստա՛հ եմ, որ այսուհետ ևս նա կշարունակի անել առավելագույնը՝ մեր երկու քաղաքների միջև կապերն էլ ավելի ամրապնդելու և ընդլայնելու համար:
