Հայաստանում Մտավոր սեփականության գործակալությանը ներկայացված գյուտերի և օգտակար մոդելների մեջ գերակշռում են բժշկությանը վերաբերող հայտերը: Դրանք հայտերի ընդհանուր թվի 16,86%-ն են կազմում: Թեև կարող է թվալ, որ այս թիվը փոքր է, սակայն ըստ ոլորտների տարանջատման սյունակում բժշկությանը վերաբերող հայտերն ամենից շատն են:

2017 թ. Մտավոր սեփականության գործակալություն է ներկայացվել 110 գյուտի և 40 օգտակար մոդելի հայտ, որոնցից 146-ը՝ ազգային հայտատուներից, 4-ը՝ օտարերկրյա։

Ներկայացված 150 հայտերից 8-ը կամ 5,53%-ը վերաբերում են դեղերին և դեղամիջոցներին, 7-ը կամ 4,67%-ը՝ սննդամթերքին և ծխախոտին, 17-ը կամ 11,33%-ը՝ բժշկությանն ու անասնաբուժությանը:

Նախորդ տարվա դեկտեմբերի 31-ի դրությամբ ստացված գյուտերի և օգտակար մոդելների հայտերի ընդհանուր քանակը 1992թ.-ից սկսած կազմել է 4478։ 2016 թ. համեմատությամբ նախորդ տարի ստացված հայտերի ընդհանուր քանակն ավելացել է 24-ով, ընդ որում՝ ազգային հայտատուներից ստացված հայտերի քանակը 22-ով, իսկ օտարերկրյա հայտատուներից ստացվածը՝ 2-ով։

Հաշվետու ժամանակաշրջանում գործավարությունն ավարտվել է 148 հայտով, որից՝ 123 հայտով կայացվել են որոշումներ գյուտի կամ օգտակար մոդելի հայտը պաշտոնական տեղեկագրում հրապարակելու և արտոնագիր տալու մասին, 19 հայտով կայացվել են որոշումներ գյուտի կամ օգտակար մոդելի հայտը հետ կանչված համարելու մասին, իսկ 6 հայտի համար ամբողջությամբ մերժվել է գյուտի կամ օգտակար մոդելի արտոնագիր տալը: 2017 թ. տրվել է գյուտի 74 և օգտակար մոդելի 27 արտոնագիր, որոնցից օտարերկրյա հայտատուներին տրվել է մեկը:

Անցած տարվա տվյալների համաձայն՝ ՀՀ 3152 գյուտի արտոնագրերից Հայաստանի տարածքում գործում են 209–ը, իսկ օգտակար մոդելի 505 արտոնագրերից՝ 126-ը։ Միաժամանակ այստեղ գործում են 4958 Եվրասիական արտոնագրեր։

Նախորդ տարի ակտիվ է եղել նաև ապրանքային նշանների ոլորտը: 2017 թ. ազգային ընթացակարգով ստացվել է ապրանքային նշանների գրանցման 1883 հայտ, որոնցից 1348-ը՝ ազգային հայտատուներից: Ապրանքային նշանների 1767 հայտով կատարվել է նախնական փորձաքննություն։ Համարվել են հետ կանչված 10 հայտ, 94 հայտով կայացվել է ապրանքային նշանի գրանցումը մերժելու մասին որոշումներ։ Ի վերջո գրանցվել են 1435 ապրանքային նշաններ, որոնցից 1325-ը՝ ազգային հայտատուների անունով:

Նշենք նաև, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունից ներկայացվել է միջազգային գրանցման 51 հայտ։ 2016 թ. համեմատությամբ նախորդ տարի ազգային հայտատուներից ստացված հայտերի քանակը աճել է 8-ով՝ 1348 հայտ 2016թ. 1340 հայտի դիմաց։ Ինչ վերաբերում է օտարերկրյա իրավաբանական անձանց ակտիվությանը, ապա այն աճել է ազգային ընթացակարգով՝ 535 հայտ 2016 թ. 456 հայտի դիմաց։
