Հայաստանը դարձել է ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի Ոչ նյութական մշակութային ժառանգության միջկառավարական կոմիտեի բյուրոյի փոխնախագահ
CULTUREՀայաստանը, որպես ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի Ոչ նյութական մշակութային ժառանգության միջկառավարական կոմիտեի անդամ, փետրվարի 13-ին դարձել է Կոմիտեի բյուրոյի փոխնախագահ մեկ տարի ժամկետով՝ ստանալով Կոմիտեի անդամ երկրների միաձայն աջակցությունը։
Այս մասին past.am-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից՝ հավելելով. «Բյուրոյի անդամների առաջադրումը կայացել էր Կորեայի Հանրապետությունում 2017թ. դեկտեմբերի 4-9-ը տեղի ունեցած Կոմիտեի 12-րդ նստաշրջանի ընթացքում քննարկումների ժամանակ, իսկ վերջնական հաստատումն իրականացվել է ս․թ․ փետրվարին կայացած էլեկտրոնային խորհրդակցությունների ընթացքում։
Հայաստանը Կոմիտեի անդամ է հանդիսանում 2016-2020թթ. ժամանակահատվածի համար:

Միջկառավարական կոմիտեն «Ոչ նյութական մշակութային ժառանգության պաշտպանության մասին» ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի 2003թ. կոնվենցիայի գլխավոր մարմիններից է և բաղկացած է տարածաշրջանային վեց խմբերը ներկայացնող 24 անդամից: Կոմիտեի կարևոր գործառույթներից է Կոնվենցիայով սահմանված ցանկերում գրանցվելու նպատակով անդամ պետությունների կողմից ներկայացված հայտերի առնչությամբ վերջնական որոշում կայացնելը»:
