Թբիլիսիում անցկացվող Եվրանեսթ խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի սոցիալական, զբաղվածության, կրթության, մշակույթի և քաղաքացիական հասարակության հարցերի հանձնաժողովի նիստում այսօր ելույթ է ունեցել Աժ «Ծառուկյան» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Իվետա Տոնոյանը:
 
Նա հանդես է եկել ծավալուն ելույթով, որտեղ մանրամասն անդրադարձ է կատարել Արևելյան գործընկերության անդամ երկրներում առողջապահական ոլորտի այնպիսի լրջագույն խնդրի, ինչպիսին տուբերկուլյոզի դեմ պայքարն է:
 
Իվետա Տոնոյանը ներկայացրել է Հայաստանում տիրող իրավիճակն ու վիճակագրությունը՝ ընդգծելով, որ աշխարհում տուբերկուլյոզի բուժման և կանխարգելման ճանապարհին պետք է միավորել համընդհանուր ջանքերը:
 
Տուբերկուլյոզի հարուցիչը մարդկությանը հայտնի է արդեն 100 տարուց ավելի, ուղիղ 50 տարի է, ինչ գոյություն ունեն հակատուբերկուլյոզային արդյունավետ միջոցներ: Չնայած դրան, ամեն տարի աշխարհում մահանում է տուբերկուլյոզով հիվանդ ավելի քան մեկ ու կես միլիոն մարդ: Այն աշխարհում մահացության 10-ը առաջատար պատճառներից մեկն է:
 
«Հիվանդության դեմ արդյունավետ պայքար մղելու համար անհրաժեշտ են միջազգային մակարդակի նոր մոտեցումներ»,- իր ելույթում նշել է Իվետա Տոնոյանը՝ այդ գործում կարևոր համարելով ինչպես պետական կառույցների, հասարակական և առողջապահապական կազմակերպությունների, այնպես էլ գիտական հաստատությունների և առանձին անհատների դերակատարումը:
