ԱՄՆ-ի Նյու Յորքի նահանգի դատախազները հայց են ներկայացրել Weinstein Company կինոընկերության դեմ, որը պատկանում Է սկանդալային համբավ ունեցող պրոդյուսեր Հարվի Վայնշտեյնին: Այդ մասին հայտնել Է BBC News-ը:
Հայց Է ուղարկվել նաեւ անձամբ Հարվի Վայնշտեյնի եւ նրա եղբոր՝ Ռոբերտի դեմ՝ որպես ստուդիայի հիմնադիրների: Դրանում պնդվում Է, որ Հարվի Վայնշտեյնը երկար տարիների ընթացքում սեռական ոտնձգությունների Է ենթարկել իր աշխատակցուհիներին եւ կոպիտ վերաբերվել նրանց հետ:
Ստուդիայի ղեկավարները մեղադրվում են այն բանում, որ չեն կարողացել կանխել նման բաները, չնայած նրան, որ նրանց ապացույցներ Էին ներկայացվում: Նյու Յորքի նահանգի դատախազ Էրիկ Շնեյդերմանը պնդում Է, որ աշխատակցուհիներն իրենց ու ամբողջ ընտանիքի սպանության սպառնալիքներ Էին ստանում, նրանց հարկադրում Էին սեռական ծառայություններ մատուցել աշխատանքում առաջխաղացման համար:
Իբր վարորդներից պահանջում Էին ավտոմեքենաներում պահել պահպանակներ եւ սեռական ակտիվության բարձրացման միջոցներ: Իսկ ղեկավարների օգնականներն օրվա գրաֆիկում ժամանակ Էին հատկացնում «սեքսով զբաղվելու» համար: Ենթադրվում Է, որ աշխատանքային պայմանագրերում կետ Է եղել կոպիտ վերաբերմունքից գանգատվելու համար ֆինանսական պատժամիջոցների մասին: Հարվի Վայնշտեյնի փաստաբան բեն Բրաֆմանն ասել Է, թե իր հաճախորդը մեղքերից զերծ չԷ, բայց քրեորեն պատժելի արարքներ չի կատարել: Նրա խոսքով՝ Հարվի Վայնշտեյնն իր ընկերության ղեկավար պաշտոններում ավելի շատ կանանց Է նշանակել, քան մյուս առաջատար կինոպրոդյուսերները:
Անցյալ տարվա վերջին բազմաթիվ դերասանուհիներ Հարվի Վայնշտեյնին մեղադրել են սեռական ոտնձգությունների եւ բռնաբարությունների մեջ, հաղորդել Է «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը:
