Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հանդիպել է Փարիզի քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Պոլին Վերոնի հետ: Ողջունելով հյուրին՝ քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը նախ, առանձնակի կարևորելով երկու մայրաքաղաքների միջև գործնական կապերի ընդլայնումն ու էլ ավելի զարգացումը, մեկ անգամ ևս ընդգծել է, որ Երևանի և Փարիզի միջև իսկապես առկա է փոխգործակցության լայն դաշտ, որը հնարավորություն է տալիս էլ ավելի ընդլայնելու համատեղ ծրագրերն ինչպես տեղական ինքնակառավարման, տնտեսական զարգացման, զբոսաշրջության խթանման, ներդրումների ներգրավման, այնպես էլ քաղաքային տնտեսության մի շարք այլ ոլորտներում: Անդրադառնալով «Թումո» ստեղծարար տեխնոլոգիաների կենտրոնին՝ քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը նկատել է, որ այն իսկապես կարևոր դերակատարում ունի բոլոր այն պատանիների կրթության համար, ովքեր հետաքրքրություն ունեն արվեստի և տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների հանդեպ: 

«Անշուշտ, «Թումո» կենտրոնն իր ուրույն տեղն է գրավում մեր քաղաքի կյանքում, և ինչպես խոստացել էի Փարիզի իմ գործընկերոջը, մենք կանենք ամեն ինչ, որպեսզի նախագիծն իրականություն դառնա նաև Ֆրանսիայի մայրաքաղաքում: Համոզված եմ, որ այն կլինի երկկողմ բարեկամության ևս մեկ կամուրջ ու հաջողված համագործակցության լավ օրինակ: Ի դեպ, հաշվի առնելով, որ Երևանում բավականին լավ հիմքերի վրա է դրված նաև շախմատի ուսուցումը, կարծում եմ, այդ մասով ևս մենք ունենք համագործակցության լայն հնարավորություններ և պատրաստ ենք կիսվել մեր փորձով», - ընդգծել է քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը :
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար և Երևանի քաղաքապետին փոխանցելով Փարիզի քաղաքապետ Անն Իդալգոյի ջերմ ողջյունները, Պոլին Վերոնը նշել է, որ Փարիզի քաղաքապետն իսկապես առանձնակի է կարևորում այն հետևողականությունն ու պատրաստակամությունը, որ դրսևորվում է քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանի կողմից՝ Երևանի և Փարիզի միջև հաստատված կապերն էլ ավելի ընդլայնելու և զարգացնելու ուղղությամբ:
«Պարոն քաղաքապետ, հաճելի է արձանագրել, որ Երևանի և Փարիզի միջև հաստատված համագործակցությունը վերածվել է ամուր բարեկամության, ինչի վառ ապացույցը նաև նախաձեռնվող համատեղ ծրագրերն են, որոնցից մեկն էլ Փարիզում հայկական նախագիծ հանդիսացող «Թումոյի» օրինակով կենտրոն ստեղծելն է: Շնորհակալ ենք այն պատրաստակամության համար, որ ցուցաբերում եք երկուստեք հարաբերությունների էլ ավելի ամրապնդման և ընդլայնման հարցում», - նշել է Փարիզի քաղաքապետի տեղակալը:
Հանդիպման ավարտին քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանն իր ջերմ ողջույններն է խնդրել փոխանցել Փարիզի քաղաքապետ Անն Իդալգոյին՝ մեկ անգամ ևս հրավիրելով գործընկերոջը այցելել Երևան՝ մասնակցելու Երևանի հիմնադրման 2800-ամյակին նվիրված տոնական միջոցառումներին:
