Վրաստանի նախագահ Գիորգի Մարգվելաշվիլին Հայաստանի հետ համագործակցության խորացման լայն հեռանկարներ է տեսնում: Թբիլիսիում ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ հանդիպումից հետո ԶԼՄ-ների առջև հայտարարություն անելիս Վրաստանի նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ հանդիպման ժամանակ հանգամանորեն քննարկել են երկկողմ հարաբերությունների օրակարգի հրատապ հարցերը և անդրադարձել փոխշահավետ գործակցության ապագա ուղղություններին, որոնց կար ևոր մաս է կազմում Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի միջև տնտեսական համագործակցությունը:

«Այս այցը չափազանց կարևոր է մեր երկրների միջև գոյություն ունեցող ավանդական բարեկամության և գործընկերության ընդլայնման առումով:Վրաստանն ու Հայաստանն ունեն բազմադարյա բարեկամական կապեր և հատուկ կարևորություն են տալիս դրանց խորացմանը: Մեր երկրները հատուկ ուշադրություն են դարձնում բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունների հետագա ընդլայնմանը: Մեծ ներուժ կա զբոսաշրջանության զարգացման տեսանկյունից ևս. ողջունելի է զբոսաշրջիկների թվի աճի միտումը: Մեր համագործակցությունն այս ուղղությամբ մեծ հեռանկարներ ունի,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` նշել է Մարգվելաշվիլին: Վրաստանի նախագահի խոսքով՝ հարևան երկու երկրներին միավորում են ընդհանուր շահերը և համագործակցության լայն հեռանկարները: Գիորգի Մարգվելաշվիլին համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ ՀՀ Նախագահի այցը կնպաստի երկու երկրների համագործակցության հետագա զարգացմանը:
