Չինաստանի Ժողովրդաազատագրական բանակի նավատորմի հրամանատար ծովակալ Ու Շենլին ԱՄՆ-ին նախազգուշացրել Է Հարավչինական ծովում պատերազմի սկսվելու հնարավոր վտանգի մասին, հաղորդում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով Reuters գործակալությանը:

Չինաստանի արտգործնախարարությունը հոկտեմբերի 27-ին հաղորդել Է, որ ամերիկյան Lassen Էսկադրային ականակիրն առանց Պեկինի թույլտվության մտել Է Հարավչինական ծովի ջրատարածք՝ Նանշա (Սպրատլի) վիճելի կղզիների մոտ, որոնք Չինաստանը համարում Է իրենը: ԱԳ նախարարությունը բողոք Է հայտնել ԱՄՆ-ին՝ հայտարարելով, որ այդ գործողությունները խախտում են Չինաստանի ինքնիշխանությունը: Հոկտեմբերի 29-ին ԱՄՆ-ն եւ ՉԺՀ-ն բանակցություններ են վարել Հարավչինական ծովի շուրջ: Տեսախորհրդաժողովին մասնակցել են Ու Շենլին եւ նրա ամերիկացի պաշտոնակից ԱՄՆ-ի ռազմածովային ուժերի Õ �լխավոր հրամանատար Ջոնաթան Ռիչարդսոնը:    

«Եթե ԱՄՆ-ը շարունակի իր վտանգավոր եւ սադրիչ գործողությունները, կողմերի առաջապահ ուժերի միջեւ կարող Է լարված իրադրություն ծագել ծովում եւ օդում, երբ նույնիսկ աննշան միջադեպը կհանգեցնի պատերազմի»,- մեջբերում Է Reuters գործակալությունը բանակցությունների արդյունքների վերաբերյալ ծովակալ Շենլիի հայտարարությունը:    

Հարավչինական ծովով Է անցում համաշխարհային բեռնահոսքի գրեթե մեկ երրորդը, իսկ այնտեղ գտնվող կղզիների ափամերձ ծանծաղուտը հարուստ Է նավթով: Այդ շրջանում, բացի Չինաստանից, տարբեր տարածքների են հավակնում ԱՍԵԱՆ-ի կազմի մեջ մտնող Բրունեյը, Վիետնամը, Մալայզիան եւ Ֆիլիպինները:
