ԱՄՆ-ի Նեւադայի նահանգի իշխանությունները Ֆրանսիայի արտգործնախարար Լորան Ֆաբիուսի որդուն ձերբակալելու օրդեր են տվել: Դատախազությունը Տոմ Ֆաբիուսին մեղադրում Է խարդախության եւ գողության մեջ: Այդ մասին, հոկտեմբերի 29-ին գրել Է Le Figaro-ն:
Հրատարակության տվյալներով՝ դիվանագետի որդին 2012 թվականի մայիսին 3,4 միլիոն դոլար Է ծախսել Լաս Վեգասի խաղատանը, գումարը վճարելով չապահովված վճարագրերով: Նա տանուլ Է տվել իր հոր՝ Լորան Ֆաբիուսի՝ նախարար նշանակվելու հաջորդ օրը:
Տոմ Ֆաբիուսի դեմ քրեական գործը հարուցվել Է միջադեպից միայն մեկ տարի անց: Դատախազության վճռին նախորդել Է վճարումների երկարատեւ ստուգումը:
Դատարանը կրտսեր Ֆաբիուսին արգելել Է Ֆրանսիայում խաղալ կազինոներում, ճշտում Է թերթը: Դիվանագետի որդին հաճախակի Է այցելում Մոնակոյի, ԱՄՆ-ի եւ Կիպրոսի խաղային հաստատություններ: Օրինակ՝ մեկ տարում՝ 2011 թվականի ապրիլից մինչեւ 2012-ի ապրիլը, Տոմ Ֆաբիուսը 15 միլիոն եվրո Է տանուլ տվել միջերկրյածովյան կղզում, իսկ շահել Է 13 միլիոն:
