Նախօրեին Դավիթ Հարությունյանը հայտարարել էր, որ Սերժ Սարգսյանի վարչապետության հարցը հստակ չէ և ամեն ինչ պետք է որոշվի ըստ մարտահրավերների: Բնականաբար Դավիթ Հարությունյանի հայտարարությունը որակապես տարբերվում է ասենք Էդուարդ Շարմազանովի կամ Մարգարիտ Եսայանի հայտարարություններից: Որակապես ոչ թե այն իմաստով, որ Հարությունյանի կրթությունն է ավելի բարձրակարգ, այլ որ մեթոդաբանական իմաստով այլ է Հարությունյանի դերակատարումն իշխանության ներսում: Նա, այսպես ասած, ոչ թե քաղաքական թևի, այլ տեխնոկրատական թևի ներկայացուցիչ է, ինչպես նաև այն մարդկանցից, ովքեր ոչ միայն դամ են պահում Սերժ Սարգսյանի որոշումներին, այլ ստեղծում ու նախագծում թե դամը, թե որոշումը ՝ բնականաբար Սարգսյանի ցուցումով:

Երբ Դավիթ Հարությունյանը հայտարարում է, որ ամեն ինչ կախված է մարտահրավերներից, թերևս պիտի հաշվի առնել, որ խնդիրը ոչ միայն քաղաքական է, այլ տեխնիկական: Այսինքն ՝ Սերժ Սարգսյանի վարչապետության լինել-չլինելու հարցը կախված է ոչ միայն քաղաքական պարզ հաշվարկներից, այլև համակարգի տրանսֆորմացիայի բարդությունից:

Փոփոխվող համակարգը բավական բարդ է տանում նախ և առաջ իշխանությունը՝ լինելով բավական կարծրացած ՝ թե բովանդակային, թե կառուցվածքային իմաստով: Եվ եթե քաղաքական հաշվարկն ու իրավիճակը պարտադրեն որ Սարգսյանը մնա վարչապետ կամ չմնա, ապա պետք է լինելու հաշվի առնել նաև համակարգի վախերը, մասնավորապես վախերը ՝ նոր համակարգից, երբ փաստացի անհայտ է լինելու, թե ով է համակարգի թիվ մեկը կամ ՀՀԿ դեպքում ՝ «պախանը»:
