Այնքան վատ, որ մեր երկիրն իր դիրքով զիջում է անգամ 94-րդ և 114-րդ հորիզոնականներում հայտնված Սոմալիին և Մոզամբիկին: Այս բոլոր ցուցանիշների հանրագումարը տնտեսագիտության մեջ կոչվում է կյանքի որակ:
Տնտեսագետ Գագիկ Մակարյանի գնահատմամբ՝ առանց այն էլ այս ցուցանիշով փայլուն տվյալներ չունեցող Հայաստանը վերջին տարիներին պետք է ավելի վատացրած լինի իր դիրքերն առողջ կյանքի տևողության ցուցանիշով:
«Մեր վատ սնվելը, էկոլոգիական խնդիրները, ներվային իրավիճակը, աղքատության, գործազրկության մտահոգությունները, որովհետև այսօր չորս-հինգ հոգանոց ընտանիքին, միջինին մոտ ապրելու համար, 600-700 հազար դրամ գումար է պետք: Իսկ դրանից պակաս վաստակի դեպքում ընտանիքն արդեն վատ է ապրում:
Բոլոր այս գործոնները մեր առողջության գործակցի վրա շատ վատ են անդրադարձել, որովհետև դրա արդյունքն է, որ մենք երկու հարյուր քսան հազարից ավելի հաշմանդամներ ունենք, տարիքավոր մարդիկ և մի քանի հիվանդություն՝ քաղցկեղ, սրտանոթային և այլն, որոնք բավականին մեծ տոկոսայնություն են կազմում Հայաստանում: Բնակչության շատ մեծ թվով մարդիկ, լավագույն դեպքում, իհարկե, անընդհատ ախտորոշիչ կենտրոններում են՝ իրենց առողջական վիճակը հետազոտելու համար»,- թվարկում է տնտեսագետը:
Գագիկ Մակարյանի ամփոփմամբ՝ սննդի, փողի և սթրեսային վիճակների պատճառով բնակչության առողջության ինդեքսը վատացել է՝ անկախ նրանից, թե ինչ ցուցանիշներ են ներկայացվում: Այս համատեքստում նշենք, որ Եվրոպական միության երկրներին հանձնվողների մի ստվար հատված էլ եվրոպացիներին ասում է, որ Հայաստանում իմանալով հիվանդության մասին, որը ֆինանսական ահռելի ռեսուրսներ է պահանջելու, գերադասում են գնալ, այնտեղ անձնագրերը պատռել ու ստանալ նորմալ բժշկական բուժում և խնամք»,-գրում է թերթը:
