«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

 

«ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության նախկին պատգամավոր Աշոտ Աղաբաբյանը նեղացած է ոչ միայն հարազատ կուսակցությունից, այլեւ ՀՀԿ-ական ազգականներից:

Ինչպես պնդում են «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի աղբյուրները՝ Աղաբաբյանը վերջերս դադարեցրել է շփումները նաեւ իր փեսայի՝ ԱԺ նախկին նախագահ Գալուստ Սահակյանի հետ: Ու սա այն դեպքում, երբ Գալուստ Սահակյանը եւ նրա որդին՝ ԿԱ պետական գույքի կառավարման վարչության պետ Արման Սահակյանը, իշխանական շրջանակներում բարձր դիրքերի հասել են հենց Աղաբաբյանի շնորհիվ:

«Ինչու եք հետաքրքրվում մարդկանց անձնականով: Դա անձնական հարց է: Թե մենք ինչ հարաբերությունների մեջ ենք, ինչ ենք, մեր գործն է»,- «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի հարցին ի պատասխան՝ երեկ հայտարարել է Աղաբաբյանը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ ամեն ինչ սկսվեց այն բանից հետո, երբ 2015թ. ՀՀ ֆինանսների նախարարությունը նրան պատկանող «Հրազդան» տոնավաճառին տուգանեց 60 մլն դրամով»:
