ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի ԵՔՔՎ Մալաթիա-Սեբաստիա վարչական շրջանի քննչական բաժնում քննվող քրեական գործով ձեռնարկված անհետաձգելի քննչական և օպերատիվ-որոնողական միջոցառումների արդյունքում պարզվել են Երևանի բնակիչ Արշակ Գալստյանի սպանության դեպքի էական նշանակություն ունեցող մի շարք հանգամանքներ, մեկ անձի նկատմամբ հայտարարվել է հետախուզում։ 
38-ամյա Արշակ Գալստյանի դիակը հայտնաբերվել է 2017 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 6-ին՝ ժամը 00։25-ի սահմաններում՝ Երևան քաղաքի Բաբաջանյան փողոցի 13/2 հասցեի մոտ կայանված իր` «Նիսան» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայի մեջ՝ հրազենային վնասվածքներով։

Ձեռնարկված անհետաձգելի քննչական և օպերատիվ-որոնողական միջոցառումների արդյունքում պարզվել են սպանության մի շարք հանգամանքներ, այդ թվում՝ որ Ա.Գալստյանի ուղղությամբ հրազենային կրակոցներն արձակվել են մեկ այլ ավտոմեքենայի մեջ գտնվող անձի կողմից, ավտոմեքենայի մակնիշը, ենթադրյալ հանցագործություն կատարած անձի ինքնությունը, որը հանդիսանում է Երևան քաղաքի բնակիչ՝ ծնված 1986թ.։ Հայտնաբերվել է նաև հանցագործության գործիք հանդիսացող հրազենը:
Նախնական քննությամբ փաստական տվյալներ են ձեռք բերվել՝ տուժողի հետ ենթադրյալ հանցագործություն կատարած անձի առնչության, նրանց միջև ձևավորված անբարյացակամ հարաբերությունների պատճառների մասին։

Մալաթիա-Սեբաստիա վարչական շրջանի քննչական բաժնի քննիչն այսօր որոշում է կայացրել Երևանի 31-ամյա բնակչին որպես մեղադրյալ ներգրավել Արշակ Գալստյանի սպանության համար՝ ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 104-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասով և 235-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասով, և նրա նկատմամբ հայտարարվել  է հետախուզում: Միջնորդություն  է ներկայացվել դատարան՝ նրա նկատմամբ որպես խափանման միջոց կալանավորումն ընտրելու վերաբերյալ:

Հանձնարարություն է տրվել ոստիկանության համապատասխան ստորաբաժանումներին միջոցներ ձեռնարկել՝ ենթադրյալ հանցագործություն կատարած անձին հայտնաբերելու և վարույթն իրականացնող մարմնին ներկայացնելու ուղղությամբ։

Նախաքննությունը շարունակվում է: Իրականացվում են անհրաժեշտ քննչական և դատավարական այլ միջոցառումներ՝ դեպքի բոլոր հանգամանքների բազմակողմանի, օբյեկտիվ և լրիվ հետազոտումն ապահովելու, կատարված սպանությանը հնարավոր առնչություն ունեցած այլ անձանց շրջանակը պարզելու և նրանց գործողություններն անհատականացնելու ուղղությամբ։
