Ռուսական եթերում տեղ գտած հիստերիան, որի թիրախում Հայաստանն էր ու հայ-եվրոպական քաղաքական մերձեցման անընդունելիությունը ռուսների համար, մեծ քննարկումների տեղիք տվեց թե Հայաստանում, թե Ռուսաստանում: Շատերը փորձում են հասկանալ, թե ի վերջո ինչն է պատճառը, որ ռուսական պաշտոնական դիրքորոշումն այս անգամ մեղմ էր Հայաստանի հանդեպ, բայց քարոզչական հարթակներից շատերը չխնայեցին Հայաստանին ու ողջ զինանոցով սկսեցին քննադատել:

Մեծ հաշվով, Ռուսաստանն այսօր հասել է այնպիսի մի հանգրվանի, երբ իշխանության երբեմնի կայսերապաշտական նկրտումները, որոնք ներարկվում էին հասարակության տրամադրությունները կառավարելի դարձնելու համար, կորցրել են կառավվարումը, այլևս Կրեմլի ուղղակի վերահսկողության տակ չեն ու գործում են ինքնաբուխ:

Ասել է, թե իշխանության քարոզչական հնարքը հասարակությունը լուրջ է ընդունել ու արդեն առանց ամեն անգամյա հանձնարարականի ու կազմակերպված ատելության ալիք գրգռելու կոչերի, պատրաստ է ինքնակամ ստանձնել կայսերականության պահապանի դերը: Հենց սա է պատճառը, որ ռուսական միջավայրում, թե արտաքին, թե ներքին թեմաների քննարկման ժամանակ ինքնաբերաբար հայտնվում է մարդկանց մի հոծ խումբ, որը սկսում է հանդես գալ հենց ռուսական կայսերականության դիրքերից: Ու ինչքան էլ ընդդիմախոսները փորձում են գտնել դրա հետևում Կրեմլին, չեն կարողանում:

Մոտավորապես նմանատիպ մի իրավիճակ էլ տեղի ունեցավ Հայաստանի հետ, երբ ռուսական պաշտոնական դիրքորոշումն ու հեռուստաեթերի քարոզրական արտադրանքը էականորեն հակասումէին միմյանց:
