 Սոֆիայում նոյեմբերի 25-ին տեղի է ունեցել բուլղարահայ գեղանկարիչ Գրոնիկա Կավաֆյանի «Հայաստանի հետքերով»  խորագրով ցուցահանդեսի հանդիսավոր բացման արարողությունը: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Բուլղարիայում ՀՀ դեսպանությունից՝ հավելելով. «Միջոցառմանը, որը կազմակերպվել էր ՀԲԸՄ Սոֆիայի գրասենյակի աջակցությամբ, ներկա էին բազմաթիվ արվեստագետներ, հասարակական կազմակերպությունների, հայ համայնքային կառույցների ներկայացուցիչներ:

Ընթացիկ տարվա ամռանը, առաջին անգամ այցելելով Հայաստան և տպավորվելով հայոց բնաշխարհի հեքիաթային գույներով և ձայներով՝ Գրոնիկա Կավաֆյանը որոշեց կտավին հանձնել իր տպավորությունները և հանրությանը ներկայացնել իր կողմից բացահայտած հայրենի երկիրը:

Այցելուների մեկնաբանությամբ, նրանք կարծես զգում ու վայելում էին հայկական դուդուկի ձայնն ու ճարտարապետական հնագույն կոթողների վեհությունը, Սևանա լճի բյուրեղյա ջրերն ու հայկական քոչարիի առնական ռիթմերը:  

Հետաքրքրական է, որ Գ. Կավաֆյանի ստեղծագործությունները ցուցադրվում են Սոֆիայի Arena di Serdika հյուրանոցային համալիրի մաս կազմող և պետության կողմից խնամքով պահպանվող` Բուլղարիայի հին մայրաքաղաք Սերդիկայի ավերակների ֆոնի վրա, ինչը օտարերկրյա զբոսաշրջիկներին և բուլղար  այցելուներին առավել մատչելի է դարձնում Հայաստանը բացահայտելու այս յուրահատուկ ձևը:
