1959թ. խրուշչովյան ձնհալի տարիներին, Մոսկվա բերեցին մոդելների ու Christian Dio-ի զգեստները:

Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է Past.am-ը, դա ԽՍՀՄ-ում արևմտյան նորաձևության տան առաջին դեֆիլեն էր: Լրագրողները լուսանկարեցին ֆրանսիացի մոդելների զբոսանքները Մոսկվայի փողոցներով: Այս լուսանկարներում հետաքրքիր չեն ոչ մոդելները ու ոչ էլ այդ ժամանակների քաղաքային պեյզաժները, այլ անցորդների դեմքերը, ովքեր տեսել էին նորաձև հագնված տիկիններին:

12–16 июня в 1959 году в зале «Труд» дома культуры «Крылья Советов» в Москве впервые состоялись показы летней одежды французского дома мод Кристиан Диор.
