Դեմիրթաշը ցեղասպանությունների վրա ժողովրդավար պետություն ունենալն անհնար է համարում

Թուրքիայի քրդամետ Ժողովուրնդերի դեմոկրատական կուսակցության առաջնորդ Սելահաթթին Դեմիրթաշը Ստամբուլում հանդիպել է երկրում հայ, հույն, ասորի և հրեա համայնքների ներկայացուցիչներին: Հանդիպմանը ներկա են եղել Հիմնադրամների գլխավոր վարչության Փոքրամասնությունների հիմնադրամների ներկայացուցիչ Թորոս Ալջանը, «Ակոս» պարբերականի գլխաÕ �որ խմբագիր Եդվարդ Դանզիկյանը, «Ակոս»-ի հայերեն բաժնի պատասխանատու խմբագիր Բագրատ Էստուկյանը և այլոք: Հանդիպմանը Դեմիրթաշին ուղեկցել է կուսակցության կողմից ընտրություններում առաջադրված հայ թեկնածու Գարո Պայլանը:
Լրագրողների համար փակ միջոցառմանը Դեմիրթաշն իր խոսքը սկսել է մարդու հիմնարար ազատությունները կարևորող ելույթով՝ ասելով. «Խոսքի, խոսքը տարածելու, իսկ ամենալայն իմաստով մտքի ազատությունը բոլոր իրավունքների և ազատությունների մայրն է: Այն ոտնահարելու դեպքում մյուս բոլոր իրավունքները պաշտպանելը դառնում է անհնարին»:
Նա կարևորել է նոյեմբերի 1-ին կայանալիք խորհրդարանական ընտրությունները՝ նշելով, որ այն առանցքային նշանակություն ունի երկրի քաղաքական նոր ուղղվածության որոշման հարցում: Դեմիրթաշն առանձնահատուկ կարևորել է Թուրքիայում տարբեր ազգերի ու կրոնների ներկայացուցիչների առկայությունը՝ ասելով, որ նրանք երկրի հարստությունն են:
«1923 թվականից Թուրքիայում նոր հասարակության և դրա հետ կապված նոր պետության կառուցումն ուղեկցվել է ամեն ոլորտում պատմությունն անտեսելով, դրա հետ առերեսվելուց խուսափելով, ավերակների վրա հոյակապ շինություն կառուցելով: Սակայն այդ ավերակներն այնքան մեծ են, որ չի ստացվում. հիմքերը փտած են: Ցավը, ցեղասպանությունները, կոտորածները, տանջանքները, աքսորները, ձուլումն անտեսելով հիասքանչ կառույցներ չեք կարող ստեղծել: Դրանց վրա մեծ ժողովրդավարություն չեք կարող կառուցել: 90 տարի է՝ պայքարում ենք այս մոտեցման դեմ: Առանց այս խնդրի լուծման ժողով րդավար հասարակություն դառնալ չենք կարող: Սա է խնդրի էությունը»,- ասել է Դեմիրթաշը:
Քրդամետ կուսակցության առաջնորդն ընդգծել է, որ երկրում քաոսային իրավիճակն ամենից շատ անհանգստություն է պատճառում հենց փոքրամասնություններին: «Պատմական հիշողությունն անընդհատ հիշեցնում է՝ մենք մշտապես քաոսի առաջին զոհերն ենք դառնում: Եթե շատերը երկիրը լքելու որոշմանն են հասել, ապա դա Հրանտ Դինքի ասած՝ աղավնու անհանգստության պատճառով է: Պետք է գործի անցնենք, որ մեր երեխաներն այս խնդիրները երբեք չունենան»,- հայտարարել է Դմեիրթաշը:
