ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը մասնակցել է «Հայաստանի եվրոպացի բարեկամներ» կազմակերպության «Պատվո խորհրդի» անդրանիկ նիստին

Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը նոյեմբերի 24-ին մասնակցել է «Հայաստանի եվրոպացի բարեկամներ» («EuFoA») միջազգային հասարակական կազմակերպության «Պատվո խորհրդի» անդրանիկ նիստին: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ այս մասին տեղեկացնում է կազմակերպության լրատվական ծառայությունը:

 Ողջունելով Նախագահին և նորընտիր Խորհրդի անդամներին` «EuFoA»-ի տնօրեն Դիոգո Պինտոն շեշտել է Արևելյան գործընկերության գագաթնաժողովի կարևորությունը ՀՀ-ԵՄ հարաբերությունների զարգացման առումով:

«Շատերն ասում են, որ դա լինելու է «համեստ» գագաթնաժողով, բայց մեզ և միլիոնավոր հայերի համար դա լինելու է պատմական` նոր մեկնարկ արձանագրելով Հայաստանի և ԵՄ-ի միջև հարաբերությունների խորացման առումով, որը «EuFoA»-ի հիմնական առաքելությունն է»,-նշել է նա:

 Կազմակերպության տնօրենը ևս մեկ անգամ ընդգծել է «EuFoA»-ի պատրաստակամությունը` բարձրացնելու Եվրոպայում Հայաստանի ճանաչելիության մակարդակը և կառուցելու կամուրջներ Հայաստանի և Եվրոպական Միության միջև: «Հայաստանը կարող է հույս դնել իր ընկերների վրա, Հայաստանը կարող է հույս դնել մեզ վրա»,-ընդգծել է Դիոգո Պինտոն:

Իր հերթին, Նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել «EuFoA»-ի անդամներին` կատարած արժեքավոր ու կարևոր աշխատանքի, ինչպես նաև եվրոպական երկրների և կառույցների հետ Հայաստանի համագործակցությունը ամրապնդելու համար:

 Նախագահ Սարգսյանը Խորհրդի անդամներին ներկայացրել է Բրյուսել աշխատանքային այցի շրջանակում իր հանդիպումների ու քննարկումների հագեցած օրակարգը, ինչպես նաև խոսել ՀՀ-ԵՄ համագործակցության և հարաբերությունների զարգացման հեռանկարների մասին: Նախագահ Սարգսյանը և արտգործնախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը շեշտել են Հայաստանի համար կարևոր հարցերի շուրջ Եվրոպական Միության հետ համագործակցության հետագա խորացման կարևորությունը` հիմնված ժողովրդավարության եվրոպական արժեքների, օրենքի գերակայության և մարդու իրավունքների նկատմամբ հարգանքի վրա:

 Սերժ Սարգսյանի ելույթին հաջորդել է ակտիվ հարց ու պատասխան:

Բրիտանական խորհրդարանի անդամ Ստիվեն Փաունդը շեշտել է իր ազգային խորհրդարանի աջակցությունը Հայաստանին առնչվող հարցերի լուծման շուրջ` ներկայացնելով Հայաստանը որպես «քաղաքական կայունության փարոս անկայուն տարածաշրջանում»:

Այնուհետև շոշափվել են Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականությանը, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանի ու Եվրոպայի ընդհանուր ինքնությանը վերաբերող հարցեր:

 Հանդիպման ավարտին Նախագահ Սարգսյանը առաջարկել է «EuFoA»-ի «Պատվո խորհրդի» 2018 թվականի նիստն անցկացնել Երևանում:
