Շարքային քաղաքացին ժամանակի ընթացքում կզգա ՀՀ-ԵՄ համաձայանգրի արդյունքները, որովհետև Հայաստանն ի վիճակի է արագ անցկացնել Եվրամիության աջակցությամբ բարեփոխումները:
«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ, Բրյուսելում տեղի ունեցած Եվրոպական ժողովրդական կուսակցության (ԵԺԿ) գագաթնաժողովից հետո «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանին տված հարցազրույցում այդ մասին հայտարարել է ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը:
Հարցին, թե շարքային հայաստանցին ի՞նչ է ստանալու այս համաձայնագրից՝ Նախագահն ասել է. «Վաղը չէ մյուս օրը, երևի թե՝ ոչինչ, անմիջապես իր վրա չի զգա, բայց ժամանակի ընթացքում կզգա, որովհետև մենք բարեփոխումները ի վիճակի ենք արագ անցկացնել Եվրամիության աջակցությամբ։ Ինքներս հեծանիվ հնարելու ունակությունը չունենք և ոչ էլ ցանկությունը, կան բացարձակ ճշմարտություններ, և այդ ճշմարտություններով մենք պետք է ղեկավարվենք։ Բայց ընթացքում բացի ներքին ազատություններից, Հայաստանի քաղաքացիները հնարավորություն են ունենալու առանց խոչընդոտի ուղևորվել դեպի Բրյուսել, դեպի Փարիզ, դեպի եվրոպական այլ երկրներ, և կարծում եմ, որ ԵԺԿ-ի այսօրվա հայտարարության մեջ այդ հստակ ձևակերպումը կար, տեսնենք, թե վաղվա գագաթնաժողովի ժամանակ ինչպիսին կլինի»:
Անդրադառնալով հարցին՝ արդյոք այս համաձայնագիրը կնպաստի նաև Հայաստանի անվտանգության ամրապնդմանը, սա անվտանգության ապահովման այլընտրանքայի՞ն մի ուղղություն է, Սերժ Սագսյանն ասել է, որ այստեղ այլընտրանքային բառը ճիշտ չէ: «Բայց՝ իհարկե, նաև հատկապես այն դեպքում, երբ որ մեր անվտանգությանը սպառնացող հիմնական մարտահրավերների պարագայում ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի համանախագահները և հատկապես Միացյալ Նահանգներն ու Ռուսաստանը համակարծիք են, և սա այն եզակի տեղերից է, որտեղ նրանք ամբողջովին համագործակցում են, ինչպես նրանք են հայտարարում։ Սա, իհարկե, մեզ համար ձեռքբերում է»,- ընդգծել է Նախագահը։
Սերժ Սարգսյանը նաև անդրադարձել է ՌԴ դիրքորոշմանը ԵՄ-ի հետ ակնկալվող համաձայնագրի ստորագրման շուրջ և ընդգծել, որ ՌԴ նախագահից ոչ մի քննադատություն ԵՄ-ի հետ ՀՀ համագործակցության վերաբերյալ չի լսել: «Արդեն շուտով տասը տարի կլինի, որ նախագահ եմ, դրանից առաջ տարբեր պաշտոններում, ես երբեք կես բառ անգամ չեմ լսել Ռուսաստանի որևէ ղեկավարից, հատկապես նախագահ Պուտինից, որն իր մեջ կշտամբանք պարունակի Եվրամիության հետ մեր համագործակցելու առումով»,- նշել է ՀՀ Նախագահը։
Հարցին՝ 2018-ից հետո ինչպե՞ս է պատկերացնում, որտե՞ղ եք լինելու՝ մնալու է Հայաստանի ղեկավա՞րը, Սերժ Սարգսյանը պատասխանել է. «Եթե ես պատկերացնեի, վաղուց արդեն հայտարարած կլինեի։ Երբ որ պատկերացնեմ, այն ժամանակ կհայտարարեմ»։
