Օլիմպիական խաղերի բրոնզե մեդալակրի կարծիքով' Բաքվի Եվրոպական խաղերն ամենածանր մրցաշարերից մեկն էր՝ հաշվի առնելով ճնշումը: «Եթե ինձ հաջողվեր մեդալ նվաճել, ապա այն ինձ համար աշխարհի առաջնությունների կամ Օլիմպիական մեդալներից ավելի թանկ կլիներ»,- ասաց նա:

Խոսելով գլխավոր մարզիչ Լևոն Ջուլֆալակյանի բացակայության մասին' Ամոյանը փաստեց, որ ամեն ինչ ավելի լավ կլիներ, եթե նա լիներ հավաքականի հետ:
