Ազգային ժողովում «Հանուն գիտության զարգացման» նախաձեռնության անդամ ուսանողների հետ կրթության ու գիտության հետ կապված խնդիրները քննարկելու համար կլոր սեղանի նպատակը ոչ թե հակընդդեմ հայցերով հանդես գալն է, այլ առաջին հերթին ուսանողների կարծիքը լսելն է ու փորձել գտնել ոսկե միջինը: Կլոր սեղան-քննարկման մեկնարկին այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը: «Մենք պայքարում ենք հանուն գիտության ու կրթության զարգացման, հանուն մեր պետականության և անվտանգության ու պաշտպանության ամրապնդման: Համոզված եմ, որ գիտության և կրթության զարգացումը ու մեր երկրի պաշտպանունակության ամրապնդումը չի կարելի հակադրել միմյանց»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` ընդգծեց Շարմազանովը:
Որոշում է կայացվել քննարկումները շարունակել կլոր սեղանի ձևաչափով, որի նպատակը մեկն է` լսել միմյանց և փորձել մոտեցնել դիրքորոշումները:
Քննարկման ընթացքում հիմնական զեկույցներով հանդես կգան ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Լևոն Մկրտչյանը և «Հանուն գիտության զարգացման» նախաձեռնության անդամներից մեկը: Հիմնական զեկուցողները հանդես կգան 15 րոպեանոց զեկույցներով, որից հետո կլինի հարցուպատասխան, որից հետո կլինեն մինչև 5 րոպե տևողությամբ ելույթներ:
