Ռուսական լրատվամիջոցի կողմից ՀՀԿ գերբին ու Նժդեհի կերպարին անդրադարձը առաջին նման դեպքը չէր: Ռուսական կողմը հաճախ է հիշում Նժդեհին ու Դրոյին, փորձում գտնել կապ նրանց ու ֆաշիստական Գերմանիայի միջև: Ռուսներին իսկապես անհանգստացնում է այն, թե ինչու են հայերը, որ մասնակցել են ֆաշիզմի դեմ համաշխարհային պատերազմին, իրենց դիցարանում պահում Նժդեհին:

Սիմվոլների աշխարհը շատ բարդ է: Մեծ հաշվով գործ ունենք արժեքային դիսբալանսի հետ, երբ հերոսների դիցարանում Նժդեհն ու Մարշալ Բաղրամյանը, Դրոն ու Կարեն Դեմիրճյանը և այլոք նույն շարքում են: Սա դիսբալանս է ռուսների աչքերով, որոհետև ըստ նրանց հայկական պերիֆերիան պիտի կրկնօրինակեր իր դիցարանը ու բավարարվեր միայն այն տեղայնացնելով: Սակայն, ինչպես տեսնում ենք, այդպես չեղավ ու հայերն իրենց դիցարանը կազմում են բացառապես այլ սկզբունքով:

Միաժամանակ, նույն Ռուսաստանում էլ կա արժեքային դիսբալանս, երբ ցարական, սովետական ու ներկայիս Ռուսաստանի արժեհամակարգերում տեղի են ունենում սիմվոլների բախումներ: Իսկ բոլորովին վերջերս, հակաթրամփյան ակցիաների շրջանակներում ԱՄՆ-ում սկսեցին քաղաքացիական պատերազմում պարտված հարավի հրամանատարների արձաններից մի քանիսը քանդել, որպես ռասիզմի դեմ պայքարի դրսևորում: 

Աշխարհը փոփոխվում է, սիմվոլները նոր իմաստներ են ստանում՝ անցյալից տեղափոխվելով ներկա և Հայաստանն այս առումով բացառություն չէ:
