Ասելով Հնդկաստան, միանգամից պատկերացնում ենք հիասքանչ, անկրկնելի ու անզուգական Աշվարիա Ռային: Նրան սիրում են բոլորը, նրա գեղեցկությամբ հիանում են շատերը, նրան ցանկանում են նմանվել աշխարհի բոլոր աղջիկները: Past.am-ը կներկայացնի Աշվարիա Ռայի ոչ միայն ստեղծագործական, այլ նաև անձնական կյանքի որոշ մանրամասներ:
Աշվարիա Ռայը ծնվել է 1973թ-ի նոյեմբերի 1-ին: Նրա հայրը առևտրական նավատորմի սպա էր, մայրը` գրող և հրապարակախոս: Դերասանուհին ունի իրենից մեծ եղբայր, ով մասնագիտությամբ ինժեներ է:
Մանկության տարիներին սովորել է դասական երգեցողություն և հաճախել է պարի: Դեռ մանկուց նա իր ընտանիքի հետ միասին տեղափոխվել է Բոմբեյ: Աշվարիա Ռայը մասնագիտությամբ ճարտարապետ է, սակայն իր մասնագիտությամբ երբեք չի աշխատել, ավելի շատ նրան գրավում էր մոդան և մոդելային կարիեռան:1994թ-ին մասնակցում է «Միսս աշխարհ» գեղեցկության մրցույթին և հաղթում` արժանանալով Միսս աշխարհ տիտղոսին:
Առաջին անգամ նա կինոաշխարհ մտավ 1997 թ-ին: Նրա բոլիվուդյան դեբյուտը` «Սիրահարված ինքնակոչը», ձախողվեց և արժանացավ բացասական քնադատությունների: Չնայած ֆիլմի անհաջողությանը նրան պարգևատրեցին, որպես խոստումնալից նորեկ, ով ունի փայլուն ապագա: Այստեղից սկսվեց նրա «աստեղային ժամը»:
Աշվարիա Ռայը իր շլացնող արտաքինով երբեք ուշադրության պակաս չի ունեցել: Մի քանի տարի նա հանդիպել է Սալման Խանոմի հետ: Այնուհետև նրանք բաժանվում են: Անցնելով որոշ ժամանակ նա սկսում է հանդիպել դերասան Վիվեկ Օբերոյեմի հետ: 2007թ-ի հունվարի 14-ին հայտարարում են նշանադրությունը դերասան Աբխիշեկ Բաչչանի հետ, աշխարհահռչակ դերասան Ամիտաբխ Բաչչանի որդու հետ:
Իսկ արդեն նույն թվականի ապրիլի 20-ին նա ամուսնանում է իր նշանածի հետ:2011թ-ի նոյեմբերի 16-ին Աշվարիա Ռայը Մոմբայի հիվանդանոցներից մեկում ծննդաբերում է` պարգևելով իր ամուսնուն աղջիկ` Առատխիա Բաչչանին:
