Կարմիր խաչն ամսական 150 մլն եվրո Է ծախսում Սիրիայի հակամարտության զոհերին օժանդակելու համար

Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեն (ԿԽՄԿ) Սիրիայում հումանիտար առաքելությունների իրականացման համար ամսական ծախսում Է ավելի քան 150 մլն եվրո: Այդ մասին, հայտնել Է ԿԽՄԿ-ի օպերատիվ գործունեության վարչության տնօրեն Դոմինիկ Շթիլհարթը:
«Այժմ մեր գերակայություններն են Մերձավոր եւ Միջին Արեւելքը, մասնավորապես, Սիրիան: Ամեն ամիս մենք ավելի քան 150 մլն եվրո ենք ծախսում այս երկրում հակամարտության զոհերին օժանդակելու վրա»,-ասել Է Շթիլհարթը՝ ելույթ ունենալով ՀԱՊԿ-ի եւ ԿԽՄԿ-ի համատեղ խորհրդաժողովում: Նա հավելել Է, որ այժմ Կոմիտեին հաջողվել Է այդ երկրում կարգավորել ջրամատակարարումը:
«Վերջին ժամանակներս մենք զգալիորեն ընդլայնել ենք ներկայության աշխարհագրությունն այն երկրներում, որտեղ զինված հակամարտություններ են ընաթնում: Այդ կապակցությամբ վերջին երեք տարում մեր բյուջեն ավելացել Է 50 տոկոսով՝ 2012 թվականի 1 միլիարդ եվրոյից հասնելով 1,5 մլրդ եվրոյի»,-հայտնել Է ԿԽՄԿ-ի ներկայացուցիչը:
Նա նշել Է, որ այն երկրներում, որտեղ զինված հակամարտություններ կան, ավելանում Է փախստականների թիվը: Օրինակ, Սիրիայում ավելի քան 4 մլն մարդ Է փախստական դարձել, ՈՒկրաինայում ավելի քան 2 միլիոն մարդ դարձել Է փախստական կամ վերաբնակ, Եմենում փախստական Է դարձել 1,4 մլն մարդ, ճշտել Է նա:
ԿԽՄԿ-ն հումանիտար գործողություններ Է անցկացնում Լիբանանում, Հորդանանում, Իրաքում, Աֆղանստանում, Հարավային Սուդանում, Նիգերիայի արեւելքում, Կենտրոնաֆրիկյան Հանրապետությունում, Մալիի հյուսիսում, Սոմալիում, Կոնգոյի Հանրապետությունում, Բուրունդիում, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
