Իջևանի դենդրոպարկի վնասված սեքվոյաները կցանկապատվեն

Իջևանի դենդրոպարկում երկու սեքվոյա կան, և այցելուները վնասել են դրանք:
«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` լրագրողների հետ զրույցում Իջևանի դենդրոպարկի տնօրեն Մեխակ Սայադյանն ասաց, որ մտադիր է տարածքը համալրել նոր սեքվոյաներով:
«Ստեփանավանի դենդրոպարկում նույնպես կա սեքվոյա, այն փշալարերով փակված է, որպեսզի չվնասեն: Գալիս են, խփում են, կեղևն էլ փափուկ է` վնասվում է: Մենք էլ կցանկապատենք, որպեսզի ծառերը զերծ մնան հետագա վնասումներից: Սեքվոյաներն ապրում են 3000-4000 տարի: Բարձրությունը մինչև 130 մետր հասնում է, իսկ բնի տրամագիծը` մինչև 10 մ: Մեր դենդրոպարկի այս ծառերը մոտ 60 տարեկան են»,- ընդգծեց Սայադյանը:
Դենդրոպարկում կան մետա սեքվոյա և սեքվոյա դենդրոն ծառատեսակները:
«Մետա Սեքվոյան Չինաստանում մնացել է ընդամենը 800 հա տարածքի վրա, բայց աշխարհի բոլոր բուսաբանական այգիներն ունեն այս ծառից: Այն շատ արագ աճող, գեղեցիկ տեքստուրայով բնափայտ է ու թեթև է»,-ասաց նա:
