Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ազգային թիմը Վազգեն Սարգսյանի անվան Հանրապետական մարզադաշտում հյուրընկալեց Կիպրոսին (3։2)։ «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ Հայաստանի ազգային թիմը հաշվի մեջ առաջ անցավ խաղի 17-րդ րոպեին։ Տուգանային հարվածից հետո տուգանային հրապարակում առաջինը կողմնորոշվեց և գնդակը մրցակցի դարպասն ուղարկեց Հայկ Իշխանյանը, ով իր անդրանիկ գնդակը խփեց ազգային ընտրանու կազմում։
Մեր ընտրանին շարունակեց զարգացնել հաջողությունը. 38-րդ րոպեին Վարազդատ Հարոյանը գլխի շեշտակի հարվածով կրկնապատկեց հաշվի տարբերությունը՝ 2։0։ Երկրորդ կեսի մեկնարկում Կիպրոսին հաջողվեց կրճատել հաշվի տարբերությունը. 51-րդ րոպեին աչքի ընկավ Կոնստանտիկոս Լաիֆիսը՝ 2։1։ Հանդիպման 62-րդ րոպեին Կիպրոսի հավաքականի ֆուտբոլիստները խախտեցին խաղի կանոները սեփական տուգանային հրապարակում Նշանակված 11 մետրանոց հարվածն անվրեպ իրացրեց ազգային թիմի ավագ Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը։ Խաղակեսի վերջնամասում Կիպրոսը խփեց 2-րդ գոլը։ Գոլը հեղինակեց Կիրոսը՝ 3։2։
Ինչպես Բելառուսի դեմ ընկերական խաղում, այնպես էլ այս անգամ մարզադաշտը դատարկ էր։
