 ԼՂՀ իշխանությունների հանդիպումը ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների հետ պահանջված էր, քանի որ մտքեր են փոխանակվել ինչպես առկա իրավիճակի, այնպես էլ հակամարտության կարգավորման մասին: «Ստեղծվել է յուրահատուկ մի վիճակ, երբ կարգավորման մասին խոսելը, վերջնական կարգավորման հարցը դարձել է հեռավոր մի խնդիր: Հանդիպմանը հիմնական շեշտը դրվել է ներկա իրավիճակի վրա: Խոսվել է սահմաններում իրավիճակի թուլացման մասին: Արցախյան կողմը կրկին ներկայացրել է առաջարկներ առ այն, որ ուժեղացվի դիտորդական խմբի քանակական ներկայացչությունն ու տեխնիկական միջոցներ ձեռնարկվեն խախտումների մշտադիտարկման համար, որպեսզի գործողություններն ու հայտարարությունները հասցեական եւ դիպուկ լինեն: Մեղավոր կողմը պետք է պատասխան ï³ իր քայլերի համար»,- ասաց ԼՂՀ նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Դավիթ Բաբայանը:

Անդրադառնալով մշտադիտարկման ժամանակ հակառակորդի կողմից արձակված կրակոցին` Բաբայանն ասաց, որ դա միայն անհարգալից վերաբերմունք չէր հյուրերի, միջնորդ պեութունների նկատմամբ, դրանով Ադրբեջանն ապացուցեց, որ իրենք իրենց եւ իրենց ժողովրդին չեն հարգում: «Կրակոցից հետո սկսել են քարոզչություն, թե իբր դա հայերն են արել, մինչդեռ բոլոր փաստերն ապացուցում են, որ դա իրենք են արել: Այսպիսի մի աննորմալ պետության հետ մենք գործ ունենք: Հետեւաբար, միջազգային հանրությունը պետք է ավելի համարձակ քայլեր ձեռնարկի: Աստված մի արասցե, եթե նրանցից մեկի հետ մի բան պատահեր, պատկերացնո՞ւմ եք, ինչ տեղի կունենար»- ասաց Բաբայանը` հավելելով, որ վաղ թե  ուշ գալու է այն օրը, երբ միջազգային հանրության եւ միջնորդ երկրների դիրքորոշումն ավել կարծրացած եւ հաստատուն է լինելու:

Բաբայանի գնահատմամբ`ամերիկացի 85 կոնգրեսականի` նախագահ Բարաք Օբամային ուղղած նամակն էլ առավելապես մեսիջ էր Մինսկի խմբի ամերիկացի համանախագահ Ջեյմս Ուորլիքին: «Այդ կոնգրեսականները լավ պատկերացնում են, թե ինչ կարող է լինել, եթե Ադրբեջանը շարունակի նույն կերպ: Հետեւաբար, այդ նախաձեռնությունը կարելի է միայն ողջունել, քանի որ դա ոչ թե հայամետ, այլ ողջամիտ քայլ է, որ բխում է  իրենց պետության շահերից: Հատկապես այս կրակոցից հետո արձագանքը պետք է լինի ավելի մեծ ու բարձր»,- ասաց Դավիթ Բաբայանը:

Հոկտեմբերի 27-ին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի և Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերի շփման գծի դիտարկման ժամանակ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահները և ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահի անձնական ներկայացուցիչն անցել են ադրբեջանական տարածք ԼՂՀ կողմից: Սակայն դիտարկման ավարտին գրանցվել է գնդակոծություն ավտոմատ հրազենից ադրբեջանական կողմից: Դիտարկումն անց է կացվել Մարտակերտ- Թարթառ ճանապարհահատվածում՝ ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահի անձնական ներկայացուցիչ դեսպան Անջեյ Կասպրշիկի գլխավորությամբ և ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների մասնակցությամբ:
