Բացահայտում. միտինգներ Սորոսի փողերով՝ Սամվել Ալեքսանյանի դեմ՝ հանուն «Ամերիա» բանկի շենքի

Տարօրինակ բացահայտում են արել Past.am-ի աղբյուրները: Հինգ տարի առաջ Մաշտոցի պողոտայում բազմամարդ միտինգներ էին կազմակերպում՝ Փակ շուկան իբր Սամվել Ալեքսանյանից փրկելու համար: Թերթի աղբյուրի պնդմամբ՝ երբ Սամվել Ալեքսանյանը Փակ շուկան «Երևան Սիթիի» էր վերածում, նույն ժամանակաշրջանում զուգահեռաբար քանդեցին Վազգեն Սարգսյան փողոցում գտնվող, Կենտրոնական բանկից ներքև, Շահումյանի արձանի մոտ շենքերը:
Որպեսզի ժողովրդի ուշադրությունն այս վերջինից շեղեն, Սորոսի հիմնադրամի փողերով «հարձակում»–միտինգներ կազմակերպեցին Ալեքսանյանի դեմ: Արդյունքում՝ այսօր կառուցել են «Ամերիա» բանկի մեծ ու տգեղ շենքը: Նախատեսված էր շենքի կառուցմանը հատկացնել 18 մլն ԱՄՆ դոլար, սակայն ծախսվեց 56 մլն դոլար: Թե՛ միտինգների համար հատկացված փողերը և թե՛ «Ամերիա» բանկի շենքի կառուցման փողերը նույն հասցեն ունեն՝ ԱՄՆ:
Միով բանիվ՝ փակ շուկայի միտինգները ծառայեցին նախ Կենտրոնական բանկի ներքևի շենքը սուսուփուս քանդելուն և ապա`«Ամերիա» բանկի շենքի կառուցմանը:
Ի դեպ, այդ բանկի աշխատակիցների ավտոմեքենաները գրավել են ամբողջ այդ տարածքը և խանգարում են մարդկանց ու ավտոմեքենաների տեղաշարժին:
