 Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագի պատգամավոր (Քրիստոնեադեմոկրատական միություն), Գերմանա-հայկական ֆորումի նախագահ Ալբերտ Վայլերը ջանքեր է գործադրելու, որ Բունդեսթագը Օսմանյան կայսրության՝ հայերի դեմ իրականացրած Ցեղասպանության դատապարտման վերաբերյալ շուտափույթ բանաձև ընդունի: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին Վայլերի գրասենյակից, հաշվի առնելով բազմաթիվ դիմումները, որոնք պաÕ �գամավորը ստանում է Բունդեսթագի հիշյալ բանաձևի ճակատագրի վերաբերյալ՝ նա հատուկ նամակ է հղել Գերմանիայի նախագահ Յոահիմ Գաուկին, Բունդեսթագի նախագահ, պրոֆեսոր դոկտոր Նորբերթ Լամերտին և ՔԴՄ/ՔՍՄ խմբակցության ղեկավար Ֆոլքեր Քաուդերին:

Նամակում նա հորդորում է բարձրաստիճան այս գործիչներին օգտագործել իրենց հեղինակությունն ու ազդեցությունը համապատասխան մարմիններում Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին պատշաճ բանաձև ընդունելու նպատակով: Գերմանա-հայկական ֆորումի նախագահը միևնույն ժամանակ շնորհակալություն է հայտնում Գաուկին և Լամերտին Ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի առնչությամբ ունեցած իրենց ելույթների համար, ինչպես նաև Քաուդերին աշխարհում քրիստոնեաների դեմ հալածանքների խնդիրը հետևողականորեն բարձրացնելու համար: Վայլերը ցավով արձանագրում է, որ այսօր էլ աշխարհի շատ մասերու մ քրիստոնյաների վիճակը շարունակում է ողբերգական մնալ: «Նաև այս պատճառով Գերմանիայի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչումն ու դատապարտումը կարևոր քայլ կլինի հետագա ցեղասպանությունների, կոտորածների և հետապնդումների կանխարգելման ուղղությամբ»,- ասվում է Վայլերի նամակում:
