 Հայաստանի աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի նախարար Արտեմ Ասատրյանը դրական է գնահատում հայկական ընտանիքներին երրորդ և հաջորդ երեխաների ծննդյան համար միանվագ վճարների ծրագիրը: Ազգային ժողովում ՀՀ 2018թ. պետական բյուջեի նախագծի քննարկմանը Արտեմ Ասատրյանը, պատասխանելով ՀՀ ԱԺ «Ելք» խմբակցության ղեկավար Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հարցին, ընդգծեց, որ այդ ծրագիրը տվել է այն արդյունքը, որն իրենք ակնկալում էին: «Ծրագիրը իսկապես իր դրական ազդեցությունն ունեցել է: Երբ մենք ներդրում էինք այս ծրագիրը, ելնում էինք, նրանից որ հայկական ընտանիքներում, սովորաբար, առաջին և երկրորդ երեխաներ ծնվում են, և մենք որոշեցինք խթանել երրորդ և հաջորդ երեխաների ծնունդը: Մեզ դա հաջողվեց, վիճակագրությունը ցույց է տալիս, որ երրորդ և հաջորդ երեխաների ծնունդներն ավելացել են՝ չնայած դրան զուգահեռ նվազել են առաջին և երկրորդ երեխայի ծնունդները»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ նշեց նախարարը:

Անդրադառնալով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի դիտարկմանը, թե անհրաժեշտ է ավելացնել նաև առաջին և երկրորդ երեխաների ծննդյան համար միանվագ վճարները՝ նախարարը պատասխանեց. «Մենք յուրաքանչյուր տարի ծննդյան միանվագ նպաստների վճարմանը հատկացնում ենք շուրջ 10 միլիարդ դրամ գումար, որի մոտ 70 տոկոսը գնում է երրորդ և հաջորդ երեխաների ծննդյան միանվագ նպաստների վճարմանն այն պարագայում, երբ այդ երեխաների թիվը ծնունդների մեջ շատ փոքր թիվ է կազմում՝ 41 հազարից ընդամենը 8 հազարը: Ելնելով այս տրամաբանությունից՝ եթե մենք ավելացնում ենք այդ գումարները, խոսքը գնալու է մի քանի տասնյակ միլիարդների մասին: Եթե մենք ունենք մի քանի տասնյակ միլիարդ գումար, պիտի քննարկենք, թե որ ուղղությամբ ավելի արդյունավետ կլինի դրանք ուղղել»:
