Կոլումբիան կոկաինի արտադրության դեմ պայքարի համար ՄԱԿ-ի հետ կնքել է 300 մլն դոլար արժողությամբ գործարք

Կոլումբիան ՄԱԿ-ի հետ ստորագրել է 300 մլն դոլար արժողությամբ համաձայնագիր, որպեսզի նվազեցնի կոկաինի արտադրությունը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` այս մասին տեղեկացնում է BBC-ն:

Կոլումբիացի ֆերմերները, ովքեր կոկաին պատրաստելու հումքի` կոկայի փոխարեն կաճեցնեն ավելի ապահով մշակաբույսեր, կփոխհատուցվեն:

ՄԱԿ-ի թմրամիջոցների և հանցագործության դեմ պայքարի գրասենյակի ղեկավարի խոսքով` այն հնարավորություն է շրջադարձ կատարելու Կոլումբիայում կոկայի մշակման դեմ:  Կոլումբիան նույն գրասենյակի կողմից ճանաչվել է որպես թմրանյութեր աճեցնող գլխավոր երկրներից մեկն աշխարհում:

 «Պատմական համաձայնագիրը բացառիկ հնարավորություն է շրջադարձ կատարելու Կոլումբիայի թմրանյութերի մշակման դեմ և օգնելու ֆերմերներին այլընտրանքային զարգացման հարցում»,-ասել է ՄԱԿ-ի թմրամիջոցների և հանցագործության դեմ պայքարի գրասենյակի ղեկավար Յուրի Ֆադոտովը` ելույթ ունենալով Վիեննայում:

Ներկայում ֆերմերները վաստակում են ամսական 300 դոլար աճեցրած յուրաքանչյուր հեկտար կոկայի համար: Այս նախաձեռնության շնորհիվ նրանք կփոխհատուցվեն, եթե աճեցնեն ավելի անվտանգ մշակաբույսեր, ինչպիսին են սուրճը և կակաոն:

Սակայն Կոլումբիայի կառավարությունն ասում է, որ այն մարտահրավեր է զինված ուժերի կողմից, ովքեր փորձում են ստանձնել կոկայի ավանդական արտադրության տարածքները:
