Օրերս Երևանում կբացվի Ռուսաստանում հայտնի ՌԻՈ հանրախանութների ցանցի մասնաճյուղը: ՌԻՈ-ն պատկանում է Սամվել Կարապետյանին: Մամուլում խոսվեց նաև, որ նա պատրաստվում է գնել Հայփոստ ընկերությունը: Ընկերությունը պատկանում է Էդուարդո Էռնեկյանին, որին վերջերս կասկածելի պայմաններում ազգային հերոսի կոչում տվեցին: Մինչ այդ էլ Սամվել Կարապետյանը հասցրել էր գնել ՀԷՑ-ը, նաև այլ առևտրային, էներգետիկ բիզնեսներ ստեղծել Հայաստանում:
Սամվել Կարապետյանի ակտիվացումը հատկապես նոր թափ առավ այն բանից հետո, երբ Հայաստանում դարձավ վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանը: Սամվել Կարապետյանը դարձավ Կարեն Կարապետյանի ներդրողների ակումբի առանցքային դեմքը, իսկ Կարեն Կարապետյանը ՝ Սամվել Կարապետյանի որդու հարսանիքի քավորը:
Այս տնտեսական, ընտանեկան կապերը, որոնք ստեղծում են Կարապետյանները, հավակնում է Հայաստանում դառնալ նոր ուժի բևեռ: Դժվար է ասել այդ պլանները հեռահար են, թե ոչ և ինչպես դրանք կունենա քաղաքական դրսևորումներ: Բայց պարզ է մի բան, որ Կարապետյանները ձեռքները ծալած չեն նստում և փորձում են Հայաստանում իրենց համար բազմաոլորտ հենարաններ ստեղծել:
