Իրանում ՀՀ դեսպան Արտաշես Թումանյանն հոկտեմբերի 31-ից նոյեմբերի 1-ը երկօրյա աշխատանքային այցով եղավ Ռազավի Խորասան նահանգում, որտեղ հանդիպումներ ունեցավ նահանգապետ Ալի Ռեզա Ռաշիդիանի, Մաշհադի քաղաքապետ Ղասեմ Թաղիզադե Խամեսիի և նահանգի առևտրի, արդյունաբերության, հանքերի և գյուղատնտեսության պալատի ներկայացուցիչների հետ: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:

Հանդիպումների ընթացքում քննարկվեցին Հայաստան-Իրան տնտեսական, մշակութային և գիտակրթական համագործակցության խնդիրները: Առանձնահատուկ ուշադրության արժանացան զբոսաշրջության զարգացման, ավիացիոն կապերի հաստատման, տեղեկատվական փոխանակումների և իրազեկման, փոխայցելությունների կազմակերպման հարցերը:

ՀՀ դեսպանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունն այցելեց Ռազավի Խորասանի արդյունաբերական կենտրոններ, հանդիպումներ ունեցավ գյուղմթերքի վերամշակման և սննդարդյունաբերության յոթ խոշոր ընկերություններում, որտեղ ներկայացվեց Հայաստանի տնտեսության գրավիչ պայմանները, ներդրումային քաղաքականության ուղղությունները, գործող օրենսդրական նորմերն ու առևտրային ռեժիմները, ազատ տնտեսական գոտիների գործունեությունը և այլն:

ՀՀ դեսպանն այցելեց նահանգի կենտրոն Մաշհադ քաղաքի Ֆիրդուսու անվան համալսարան, որտեղ քննարկվեցին կրթության և գիտության բնագավառում ՀՀ բարձրագույն ուսումնական հաստատությունների և գիտահետազոտական կենտրոնների հետ համագործակցության հեռանկարները: Հանդիպումներ եղան նաև Իրանի հյուսիսային և արևելյան շրջանների ԻԻՀ ԱԳՆ ներկայացուցչի և նահանգի առևտրի, արդյունաբերության, հանքերի կազմակերպության նախագահի հետ:

Դեսպան Թումանյանը Մաշհադում այցելեց նաև իմամ Ռեզայի դամբարան, հնագույն գորգերի թանգարան, ինչպես նաև Մաշհադ քաղաքին նվիրված լուսանկարչական ցուցահանադես:

Այց կատարվեց ԻԻՀ մշակութային ժառանգության, ձեռարվեստի և զբոսաշրջության կազմակերպություն և Թեհրանի հայոց թեմի կողմից իրականցվող վերանորոգման աշխատանքների փուլում գտնվող Սուրբ Աստվածածին հայկական եկեղեցի:
