Սպիտակ տունը հույս ունի, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահական ընտրություններին Ռուսաստանի միջամտության հետաքննությունը մոտ ժամանակներս կավարտվի։ Այս մասին հայտնել է Սպիտակ տան ներկայացուցիչ Սառա Սանդերսը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ Թրամփի նախընտրական շտաբի 2 նախկին աշխատակիցների դեմ մեղադրանքները ոչ մի կապ չունեն նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի կամ նրա արշավի հետ, ինչպես նաեւ չեն ապացուցում նրա նախագահական շտաբի եւ Ռուսաստանի միջեւ կապը։
«Մենք ասել ենք, որ առաջին օրվանից ոչ մի ապացույց չկա Թրամփի եւ Ռուսաստանի միջեւ համաձայնության մասին»,- ասել է նա։
Սպիտակ տան մամուլի քարտուղարն ասել է, որ Թրամփը չի պլանավորում որեւէ փոփոխություն կատարել գործը վարող հատուկ փաստաբան Ռոբերտ Մյուլլերի հարցում եւ չի ազատելու նրան պաշտոնից։
Թրամփի նախընտրական շտաբի նախկին ղեկավար Փոլ Մանաֆորթին եւ նրա գործընկեր Ռիք Գեյթսին մեղադրանք է ներկայացվել ԱՄՆ-ի դեմ դավադրություն կազմակերպելու համար։ Նրանք իրենց մեղքը չեն ընդունում։
