Վիգեն Սարգսյանի երեկվա հաղթարշավը պայմանավորված էր մեկ հանգամանքով ՝ ԵԼՔ-ը նախագծի քննարկումը տարավ փակուղի, մտավ մի դաշտ, որտեղ իշխանության գործիքակազմն ու Վիգեն Սարգսյանի հռետորական ունակություններն ավելի զորեղ գտնվեցին: Մտնելով ծառայած-չծառայած պաշտոնյաների, կենսագրությունների քննարկման դաշտ, ԵԼՔ-ը շանս տվեց Վիգեն Սարգսյանին օգտագործել հռետորական փաստարկման ունակություններն, ինչպես նաև արխիվներում եղած նյութերի հասանելիության իր լծակները և ջախջախել իր հասցեին հնչած քննադատությունները:

Միայն հետո, երբ ԵԼՔ-ի առանձին անդամներ սկսեցին պարզաբանումներ տալ լրատվամիջոցներին , նրանց խոսքը քաղաքական որոշակի բովանդակություն ստացավ: Իսկ մինչ այդ ՝ ԱԺ-ում, նրանք բավական թույլ տեսք ունեին: 

ԵԼՔ-ը անփորձությունից կամ արագ դափնիներ հավաքելու ցանկությունից դրդված սկսեց քննադատությունների այնպիսի ոճ կիրառել, որոնք կարող էին հունից հանել ասենք Առաքել Մովսիսյանին կամ Սուրեն Խաչատրյանին: Բայց Վիգեն Սարգսյանին ու իր ներկայացրած նախագիծը քննադատելու համար ԵԼՔ-ից պահանջվում էր ավելի կոնցեպտուալ մոտեցում: 

Ընդդիմությունը կարիք ունի վերանայելու իր հռետորաբանության կառուցվածքը: Այսուհետ իշխանության հասցեին հնչող միագիծ, ճակատին ասվող թունդ հայտարարությունները որևէ անակնկալ չեն կարող մատուցել. իշխանությունը պատրաստվել է այդ ամենին ՝ պառլամենտ ու կառավարություն գործուղելով հռետորական ունակություններով երիտասարդ կադրերի: Սա չի նշանակում, թե ընդդիմությունն անելիք չունի: Ընդհակառակը. ընդդիմությունը կարող է իշխանությանը քննադատել ու հասնել հաջողության, քանի որ հռետորական ճակատից այն կողմ իշխանությունն առանձնապես չի ուժեղացել և շարունակում է իրավիճակային որոշումների կրող լինել:
