 Գյումրիում հոկտեմբերի 25-ին անցկացվեց «Աղետներին դիմակայելու պատրաստվածությունը՝ որպես առաջին քայլ դեպի կայուն զարգացում» խորագրով համագումար: Համագումարն անցկացվեց «Հայկական Կարիտաս» բարեսիրական հասարակական կազմակերպության «Աղետներին դիմակայելու պատրաստվածությունը՝ որպես առաջին քայլ դեպի կայուն զարգացում» պիլոտային ծրագրի շրջանակներում:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրեց ծրագրի պատասխանատու Արմեն Մարտիրոսյանը, համագումարի նպատակն էր ամփոփել պիլոտային ծրագրի արդյունքները, քննարկել աղետների ռիսկերի նվազեցման վերաբերող հարցերը համայնքային մակարդակով, գտնել համագործակցության հարթակներ գործընկեր կազմակերպությունների հետ: «Աղետների պատճառած վնասները հնարավոր է մեղմել, եթե համայնքները պատրաստ լինեն:

Կոնֆերանսի հիմնական նպատակը հատկապես համայնքների ղեկավարների հետ այս հարցերի քննարկումն է: Հարցը պետք է լինի համայնքների զարգացման ծրագրերի մեջ, իսկ բյուջեները կազմելիս այս խնդիրը ևս պետք է ի նկատի ունենան: Այն պետք է լինի առաջնային, որ համայնքը լինի դիմակայուն ու նվազեցնենք ռիսկերը»,-նշեց Արմեն Մարտիրոսյանը:

Այս պահին Շիրակի մարզից պիլոտային ծրագիր ընդգրկված է երեք համայնք՝ Առափին, որը ունի սողանքի խնդիր, Ոսկեհասկը, որտեղ առկա է հեղեղի վտանգ և Ջաջուռը՝ երկրաշարժի պատճառով: «Մինչ այս արդեն բավական աշխատանք իրականցվել է օրինակ Առափիում դպրոցի կոյուղագծի անցկացում, Ջաջուռում գետի մաքրման աշխատանքներ են իրականացվել:

Այս աշխատանքների մեջ իրենց ներդրումը տարբեր ձևերով ունեցել են նաև համայնքները: Մեր հաջորդ քայլը լինելու է իրազեկության բարձրացումը հատկապես դպրոցներում, բայց մինչ այդ տվյալ համայնքներ բնակիչների հետ իրականացրել ենք նաև քարտեզագրում»,-հավելեց պատասխանատուն:

2016թ. հոկտեմբերին համագործակցելով Կարիտաս Ռումինիայի հետ՝ «Հայկական Կարիտաս»-ը սկսեց իրագործել «Աղետներին դիմակայելու պատրաստվածությունը՝ որպես առաջին քայլ դեպի կայուն զարգացում» պիլոտային ծրագիրը Հայաստանի երեք եւ Վրաստանի երեք գյուղական համայնքներում: Ծրագրի նպատակն է բարձրացնել հիդրո-օդերեւութաբանական գործոններով պայմանավորված բնական աղետների, կլիմայի փոփոխության եւ սեյսմիկ ռիսկերի նկատմամբ դիմակայունությունը եւ նվազեցնել բացասական ազդեցությունը, որն այդ աղետները կարող են թողնել մարդկանց ու տնտեսական զարգացման վրա:
