Հայաստան այցելած Մեծ Բրիտանիայի նախարարը տպավորված էր այն պոտենցիալ համագործակցությամբ, որը կարելի է էլ ավելի խորացնել Հայաստանի ու Բրիտանիայի պետությունների միջև: Լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց Հայաստանում Մեծ Բրիտանիայի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ջուդիթ Ֆարնուորթը՝ խոսելով Հայաստանի և Բրիտանիայի միջև հաստատված դիվանագիտական 25-ամյակի մասին:

Դեսպանն ասաց, որ Հայաստանում իր գործունեության 2 տարիների ընթացքում ինքը շատ է ճանապարհորդել Հայաստանի տարածքում, ծանոթացել գեղեցիկ տեսարժան վայրերի:

«Իսկ աշխատանքային առումով վերջերս մեծ մտադրություն ու պատրաստակամություն կա Հայաստանի ու Բրիտանիայի կառավարությունների կողմից համատեղ աշխատել առաջիկա տարիների ընթացքում: Վերջերս Հայաստան էր այցելել ՄԹ Առևտրի հարցերով նախարարը, ով շատ հանդիպումներ ունեցավ ՀՀ բարձրաստիճան ղեկավարության հետ:

Նա շատ տպավորված էր այն պոտենցիալ համագործակցությամբ, որը կարելի էր էլ ավելի խորացնել երկու պետությունների միջև: Խոսքը, մասնավորապես, երկու կարևոր իրադարձության մասին է: «Հայաստանն ընդգրկվեց Բրիտանիայի լավ կառավարման ֆոնդի մեջ և կարող է դրա շնորհիվ ավելի շատ ծրագրեր իրականացնել: Եվ երկրորդ այն է, որ նշանակվել է առևտրի հարցերով ներկայացուցիչ Հայաստանում, որը կնպաստի հայ-բրիտանական առևտրային հարաբերությունների զարգացմանը»,- ասաց Ջուդիթ Ֆարնուորթը:
