Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը հոկտեմբերի 20-ին թեյի սեղանի շուրջ հանդիպում է ունեցել հոկտեմբերի 19-21-ը Երեւանում անցկացվող «Սահմանադրական դատարանների դերը սահմանադրական վեճերի հաղթահարման գործում» թեմայով երևանյան 22-րդ միջազգային խորհրդաժողովի մասնակիցների հետ: 

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Հանրապետության Նախագահը ողջունել է հյուրերին և կարևորել սահմանադրական արդարադատության խնդիրների քննարկմանը նվիրված խորհրդաժողովը, որը Նախագահի համոզմամբ, յուրաքանչյուր տարի դառնում է առավել ընդգրկուն հարթակ սահմանադրական արդարադատության արդիական հարցերի քննարկման ու սահմանադրական դատարանների, միջազգային կազմակերպությունների և եվրոպական կառույցների միջև համագործակցության հնարավոր եզրերի բացահայտման համար:
Նախագահ Սարգսյանը գոհունակությամբ է արձանագրել, որ ՀՀ սահմանադրական դատարանը կազմավորման պահից ի վեր ակտիվորեն ներգրավված է փոխգործակցության զարգացմանն ուղղված այդպիսի գործընթացներում:

Այն փաստը, որ խորհրդաժողովն իր հարկի տակ է հավաքել բարձր որակավորում ունեցող բազմաթիվ մասնագետների, ըստ Սերժ Սարգսյանի, խոսում է նման ձևաչափով համագործակցության պահանջվածության մասին: Նախագահը նշել է, որ անմիջական շփման միջոցով փոխգործակցությունը ամենալավ ձևն է համատեղ և արդյունավետ լուծումներ գտնելու ընդհանուր հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող խնդիրների համար, ինչպես նաև փորձի փոխանակում իրականացնելու: 

Այս համատեքստում Նախագահ Սարգսյանը խոսել է «Ժողովրդավարություն՝ իրավունքի միջոցով» եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի (Վենետիկի հանձնաժողով) և այլ եվրոպական կառույցների հետ ձևավորված փոխգործակցության մասին, որի շնորհիվ տարիներ շարունակ Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտների ամրապնդմանը միտված բարեփոխումներ են անցկացվում: Նախագահը խոսել է նաև 2015թ. Հայաստանում կայացած սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների մասին, որը մեկնակետ դարձավ Հայաստանի պետական կառավարման և ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտների ամրապնդման ճանապարհին:

Միջազգային խորհրդաժողովի մասնակիցները շնորհակալություն են հայտնել Նախագահին ջերմ ընդունելության և խորհրդաժողովի կազմակերպիչներին՝ Երևանում միջոցառումը բարձր մակարդակով անցկացնելու համար: Նրանք նշել են, որ անցած երկու օրերի ընթացքում խորհրդաժողովի շրջանակներում բավականին արդյունավետ երկխոսություն է ծավալվել, որի ժամանակ անդրադարձել են մասնագիտական տեսանկյունից մի շարք արդիական հարցերի, այդ թվում՝ իշխանությունների տարանջատմանը, ժողովրդավարության և իրավունքի գերակայության ամրապնդմանը, սահմանադրական դատարանների դերակատարությանը ժողովրդավարական համակարգերում և այլն: 

Խորհրդաժողովի մասնակիցները պատրաստակամություն են հայտնել շարունակելու մասնագիտական ոլորտում սերտ շփումներն ու համագործակցությունը:
