ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարար Հրանուշ Հակոբյանը, Կիպրոսի նախագահի՝ հումանիտար և արտերկրյա հարցերով հանձնակատար Ֆոտիու Ֆոտիսը և Հունաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Տերենս Նիկոլաոս Քուիքը հոկտեմբերի 20-ինանցկացրել են Հայաստանի,Կիպրոսի և Հունաստանի միջև սփյուռքի հարցերի համակարգման ուղղությամբ առաջին եռակողմ հանդիպումը: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարարության մամուլի և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, հանդիպումը տեղի է ունեցել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության սփյուռքի նախարարության և ԿիպրոսիՀանրապետության նախագահի՝ հումանիտար և արտերկրյա հարցերով հանձնակատարի գրասենյակի միջևԵրևանում՝ 2017թ. հունիսի 19-ին ստորագրված Սփյուռքի հարցերի շուրջ համագործակցության վերաբերյալ Փոխըմբռնման Հուշագրի հիման վրա:

Հանդիպումը հաստատել է պաշտոնական երկխոսություն և նշանավորել հայ, կիպրացի և հույն ժողովուրդների միջև պատմական բարեկամական հարաբերությունները և, համատեղ ծրագրերի միջոցով,միջկառավարական երկխոսությանը զուգահեռ, նրանց միջև մշակութային, կրոնական և տնտեսական ամուր կապերը որպես երեք երկրների՝ իրենց սփյուռքյան համայնքներին սատարելու պատրաստակամության և նրանց միջև փոխըմբռնման ու սերտ համագործակցության արտահայտություն: Երեք երկրները համաձայնվել են նպաստել ակադեմիական ինստիտուտների, մշակութային կենտրոնների,լրատվական խմբերի և գիտական կենտրոների միջև համատեղ տեղեկատվական փոխանակման նախաձեռնությունների և նախագծերի խթանմանը, որոնք նպատակ ունեն նպաստելու նրանց ընդհանուր արժեքներին և սփյուռքի հետ կապված հարցերին:

 Երեք կողմերը համաձայնվել են նաև արտերկրում իրենց կազմակերպված սփյուռքների միջև համագործակցության առավել սերտացմանը խրախուսելու մասին՝ երիտասարդների ակտիվ մասնակցությամբ: Որոշվելէ հաջորդ տարվա գարնանը Ֆրանսիայում հրավիրել երեք սփյուռքների երիտասարդների եռակողմ հանդիպում, որպեսզի այս կարևորագույն փոխգործակցությունը վերածվի կոնկրետ գործողությունների և իր նպաստը բերի սփյուռքի հարցերի վերաբերյալ լավագույն փորձի և գիտելիքի փոխանակմանը:
