ԱՄՆ բանակի սերժանտը մեղավոր է ճանաչվել դասալքության մեջ

ԱՄՆ Հյուսիսային Կարոլինայի Ֆորտ Բրագ ռազմակայանում կայացել են դասալքության մեջ մեղադրվող Բոուի Բերգդալի դատալսումները։ Լսումների ընթացքում Բերգդալն իրեն մեղավոր է ճանաչել դասալքության եւ թշնամու նկատմամբ հանցավոր վարքի մեջ։
Նա նաեւ կասկած է հայտնել, թե քննությունն իր հանդեպ արդար կլինի, հատկապես իր մասին նախագահ Թրամփի հայտարարությունից հետո։ Թրամփը նախընտրական քարոզարշավի ընթացքում Բերգդալին դավաճան էր անվանել եւ ասել, թե հին ժամանակներում սերժանտին կախաղան կբարձրացնեին։
2009-ին Բերգդալը ծառայում էր Աֆղանստանում, 501-րդ դեսանտային գնդում։ Հունիսին նա անհայտ պատճառներով լքել էր ծառայության վայրը, ապա գերի ընկել թալիբների ձեռքը։ Հինգ տարվա բանակցություններն ապարդյուն էին եղել, Բերգդալը մի քանի անգամ փորձել էր փախչել, սակայն անհաջող։ Նրան ազատելու գործողության ժամանակ վեց զինվոր էր սպանվել։ 2014թ. նախագահ Օբաման Բերգդալին փոխանակեց Գուանտանամոյի հինգ ազդեցիկ բանտարկյալների հետ։ Պենտագոնի այդ որոշումը լուրջ քննադատության արժանացավ հանրապետականների կողմից։ Բանն այն է, որ Fox News-ի թղթակիցներ Մեգին Քելլին եւ Ջեյմս Ռոզենը պարզել էին, թե Բերգդալը իսլամ է ընդունել եւ ահաբեկիչներին գաղտնի տեղեկություններ հայտնել։ Պարզել էին նաեւ, որ նա ինքնակամ է լքել ռազմակայանը։ Բերգդալը դա ժխտում էր, նշում, թե իր հետ անմարդկային կերպով են վարվել թալիբները։
Զինվորական փաստաբան Թերենս Ռասելը հայտնել է, թե Բերգդալին կտտանքների են ենթարկել, ինչի արդյունքում էլ նա գաղտնիքներ է հայտնել թալիբներին։ Այդուհանդերձ, փորձագետները չեն բացառում, որ Բերգդալին կարող են ազաատզրկման դատապարտել։
