Հայաստանը Չինաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականության առաջնահերթություններից է, այդ իսկ պատճառով չինական կողմը ակտիվ արտաքին քաղաքական և տնտեսական կապեր է պահպանում Հայաստանի հետ: Այս մասին Չինաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունում կազմակերպված ասուլիսի ժամանակ «Արմենպրես»-ի թղթակցի հարցին ի պատասխան ասաց Չինաստանի ԱԳՆ Եվրոպայի և Կենտրոնական Ասիայի երկրների դեպարտամենտի ղեկավարի տեղակալ Լիու Բինը (Liu Bin):

«Հայաստանի և Չինաստանի միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատմանը հաջորդած 25 տարիների ընթացքում մեր հարաբերություններն արդեն հասել են շատ բարձր մակարդակի: Առաջիկայում էլ չինական կողմը պատրաստ է տարբեր մակարդակներում պահպանել սերտ կապերը հայկական կողմի հետ: Մասնավորապես՝ ուժեղացնել հայկական կողմի հետ փոխգործակցությունը քաղաքական ասպարեզում, միջազգային հարթակներում, ինչպես նաև տնտեսական ոլորտում»,- ասաց Լիու Բինը: Նա հատուկ ուշադրություն հրավիրեց երկրների միջև առևտրի մասշտաբի և մակարդակի ավելացմանը:

«Ցավոք, ես չեմ եղել Հայաստանում, սակայն ընկերներիցս մեկը, ով այցելել էր Հայաստան, այնտեղից կոնյակ էր բերել: Փորձեցի և շատ հավանեցի: Հայաստանն, իհարկե, ունի սեփական արտադրության մթերքները, որոնք կարող են արտահանվել: Հետևաբար, կարծում եմ՝ անհրաժեշտ է ուժեղացնել երկկողմ փոխըմբռնումը և իրականացնել ավելի մեծ համագործակցություն»,- ընդգծեց նա:
