Հաջորդ շաբաթ Հայաստանի նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը Ժնևում կհանդիպի Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հետ: Այսօր ՀՀԿ ԳՄ նիստի ավարտից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նման հայտարարություն արեց ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյան՝ հավելելով, որ Սարգսյան-Ալիև հանդիպումը նախաձեռնել են ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահները։
«Հայաստանի տեսակետները գիտեք արցախյան հիմնախնդրի հետ կապված, որը Հայաստանի նախագահը վերջերս ՄԱԿ-ի ամբիոնից բարձրացրել էր։ Չնայած Ադրբեջանի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների վերջին հայտարարություններին, այնուհանդերձ Հայաստանի նախագահը գնալու է Ալիևի հետ հանդիպմանը», - շարունակեց Արմեն Աշոտյանը:
Հարցին՝ ինչո՞ւ Սոչիում տեղի չունեցավ Սարգսյան-Ալիև հանդիպում, ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահը պատասխանեց.«Նման հանդիպում ավելի վաղ ծրագրված չի եղել և դա որոշ լրատվամիջոցների տեղեկություններ են եղել ընդամենը: Հանդիպման կազմակերպիչները Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներն են, և այստեղ որևէ ինտրիգ փնտրել պետք չէ։ Չկայացավ նման հանդիպում, որովհետև ի սկզբանե նման հանդիպում ծրագրված չէր»:
Արմեն Աշոտյանն, անդրադառնալով Արցախյան հակամարտության գործընթացին, շեշտեց, թե բարեհաջող ընթացքի համար անհրաժեշտ է ստեղծել արժանահավատ անվտանգ միջավայր։ Նա նկատեց, որ այս պահին բանակցությունները շարունակվում են:
«Այս փուլում ավելի կարևոր է այդ գործընթացում բարենպաստ միջավայրի վերականգնումը, որը թույլ կտա ավելի լավատեսորեն նայել դեպի բանակցային ապագա։ Դուք ծանոթ եք Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարության հայտարարություններին, բոլոր դեպքերում, հավատարիմ լինելով Մինսկի խմբի ձևաչափին ու սկզբունքներին, Հայաստանը միշտ կառուցողական է եղել բանակցային գործընթացում իր լուման ունենալու տեսանկյունից»,- եզրափակեց Արմեն Աշոտյանը:
