Քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հանդիպել է Գլենդելի քաղաքապետ Վարդան Կարապետյանի հետ

Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հյուրընկալել է «Էրեբունի-Երևան 2799» տոնական միջոցառումներին մասնակցելու նպատակով Երևան ժամանած ԱՄՆ Կալիֆորնիայի նահանգի Գլենդել քաղաքի քաղաքապետ Վարդան Կարապետյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը: Ողջունելով և շնորհակալություն հայտնելով Վարդան Կարապետյանին հրավերն ընդունելու համար` քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ նա իր հերթին կնպաստի հայաշատ Գլենդելի հետ գործնական կապերի ամրապնդմանն ու խորացմանը:
«Վստահ եմ, Երևանը և Գլենդելը համագործակցության լայն հնարավորություններ և հեռանկար ունեն ինչպես քաղաքային տնտեսության տարբեր բնագավառներում, այնպես էլ կառավարման հարցում: Վերջին տարիներին հստակ քաղաքականություն է տարվում նաև ներդրումային դաշտի ակտիվացման ու զբոսաշրջության զարգացման ուղղությամբ:
Գործարար միջավայրի բարելավման և ներդրումների ներգրավման հետ կապված այսօր մայրաքաղաքում լուրջ քայլեր են ձեռնարկվում, և մենք կարևորում ենք կոնկրետ ծրագրերի ու նախագծերի իրականացումը։ Մենք բաց և պատրաստակամ ենք համագործակցության համար և, հաշվի առնելով Գլենդելում հայ համայնքի ունեցած մեծ դերակատարումը, վստահ եմ, որ համատեղ ջանքերով կկարողանանք ակտիվացել երկու քաղաքների միջև հարաբերությունները՝ իրականացելով երկուստեք փոխշահավետ ծրագրեր»,- նշել է Տարոն Մարգարյանը։
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության ու Երևանի ծննդյան օրը միասին տոնելու հրավերի համար՝ Գլենդելի քաղաքապետ Վարդան Կարապետյանը համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ առաջիկայում Երևանի և Գլենդելի միջև հարաբերություններն ավելի սերտ ու գործնական կդառնան:
«Ինձ համար մշտապես շատ հաճելի է, պարոն քաղաքապետ, գտնվել Երևանում, և ես համոզված եմ, որ երկու քաղաքները համատեղ ծրագրերի իրականացման հարցում մեծ ներուժ ունեն: Ի դեպ, շատերը Գլենդելն անվանում են սփյուռքահայերի մայրաքաղաք, հաշվի առնելով, որ Երևանից հետո ամենաշատ հայերով բնակեցված քաղաքը հենց Գլենդելն է: Եվ համոզված եղեք, որ Գլենդելի հայ համայնքի համար իսկապես անչափ կարևոր է հայրենիքի հետ կապերի ամրապնդումն ու ընդլայնումը, ինչին մենք անպայման կհասնենք», - նշել է Վարդան Կարապետյանը:
Առիթն օգտագործելով՝ քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը Վարդան Կարապետյանին և պատվիրակության անդամներին սիրով հրավիրել է հաջորդ տարի կրկին այցելել Երևան ու դառնալ 2800-ամյա Երևանի հոբելյանական տարեդարձի տոնական միջոցառումների մասնակիցը:
Հանդիպման ավարտին Երևանի Կենտրոն վարչական շրջանի և Գլենդել քաղաքի միջև ստորագրվել է համագործակցության մասին փոխըմբռնման հուշագիր:
